Same here! One of my favorites! For me, it’s the easiest to shoot. I haven’t had any issues yet. I’ve got 750 or so rounds thru it, so probably still breaking in even.
@@og-mgtow I use sig v-crown ( a little expensive) 180 grain mostly, I have tried some underwood 200 gr solids to see if they would run. 180 grain hornady xtp’s are decent. Mine will even run that aluminum case blazer range ammo. I’m wondering if these have the same issues as the regular m&p 10mms.
I took my stock M&P 2.0 10mm and customized it. I have the 4.625 inch model. Quad ported by Mag-Na-Port and installed a Carver Custom HEAVY non captured spring tungsten guide rod using a factory rated recoil spring. Had a flat aluminum black Apex trigger installed. Replaced the sights with optic height steel X/S tritium night sights. Installed a Holosun 508T red dot on C&H Precision aluminum mounting plate using blue loc-tite and stainless steel screws. Used Floyd’s Custom mag well and aluminum base plate to add one round to the magazine with no spring change. Added a Pachmyer slip on rubber grip to cover some of the grip texture. No safety on my M&P 2.0 10mm. Installed a Stream Light TAC light and green laser to it. My son shot my pistol for the first time and loved it and was accurate too. So the customized features really tamed it.
I’ve just lubricated it and cleaned it for my m&p performance center and it ran well. Also for the magazines I’ve just learned to slap the magazines so that the ammo sits directly to the back. I’ve had no problems with it after but I’m probably only about 500 rounds in it now. I’ve had no problems on the last 300 rounds after. Try slapping the magazines so the primers are directly to the back of the magazine for sure. For me it’s always been the 2nd to last round that would cause problems
Great review brother. I have one question. In your opinion can the M&P 10mm be concealed decently? That’s the one I have been looking hard into and will probably purchase. Thanks, keep up the great vids. 🙏🏼👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you for watching! You could conceal carry the M&P 10MM if you dress appropriately. I would go for the 4 inch model. Out of the three, that would be the easiest to conceal carry. You won’t get the performance center trigger as standard though. However you should be able to buy one & get it installed if you prefer.
This is a great video I want to own the M P performance center 10 mm at some point right now I have a Gen 4 G40 mos that I'm building up pretty much for what the performance center comes with out of the box...
My Performance Center 10 mm with a CT RAD PRO Is the best shooting pistol I own. From the puniest .40 cal. to the heaviest Buffalo Bore and Underwood ammo, it's never failed to feed or eject. 8" steel targets @ 50+ yards are just play time. Best big bore trigger ever.
Pretty good video bro I subbed, but I will say when you said the sig lack of trigger vs the s&w PC….i think the sig is better having shot both, also i think the integrated comp is not very noticeable…. accessories you kinda left out the mass amounts of aftermarket modules coming in the next year lol Sure it’s nice to have a few back straps with a gun but let’s be honest that’s all you’re stuck with and if nothing works for you your shit out of luck the sig xten is going to have more in that dept and probably much more overall for aftermarket…. it just needs time it’s still fresh in the 10mm game.
I like the Smith & Wesson performance center I did have one failure to feed in 125 rounds now I haven't had a problem whatsoever I put $100 more rounds through it of three different types of ammunition ammunition
The m&p pistols are the only ones that passed all of the military torture tests and if you dont believe me watch Garand Thumb's mud and freeze pistol torture test video
The 5.6 is a superior setup for EDC imo. 4bros makes a nice iwb holster that rides well in a stash nacho belly band. Liberty Civil defense 60g @ 2400fps. 10mm is the best mm.
I'm not hating on your video at all, you make em better than me. If you catch yourself talking a bit slow, you can speed up your finished vid by 1.1x or 1.2x to keep it flowing tighter, it also helps to keep music playing on the background at 2%-5% volume just to keep the silence at bay, don't speed up the music tho, the human ear can tell easier if music has been sped up. This video comparison was a key reason why I'm choosing the M&P10 Performance Center, that long barrel with the built in brake, the safety from the factory, long sight ratio, and tall sights are sweet.
Thanks for your nice info-clip and yes, I like the Glock G40 Gen 4 I have just received and consider getting another 10 mm pistol from either Taurus or CZ since I like those brands very much.
And with what you know now , the M&P with Mag.Springs now fixes the pistol . I still like the Glock , but to pt a trigger , barrel , tungsten guide rod and sights i might as well get the Sig.
I'm making a Monster Glock. Bought a Glock 20 gen 5 auto, a Complete Standard Slide Assembly SKU: AS-STD-21, Size: 21 and a Glock 32 barrel. with a few mods should be able to shoot 10mm and 40 S&W with the Glock 20, 45 acp with the 21 standard slide and .357 and 38 special with a no name threaded stainless barrel. Bought a MCK pistol brace kit. Ready for anything and different ammo availability.
Good review! Compensated pistols like hotter loads and are a little trickier to spring properly. You may notice increased reliability with different ammo and as you reach the break-in round count.

My new 2.0 Perfomance center 5.6" had nothing but jams this week. FTF every 2 to 3 rounds of S&B and Magtech. Called SW and they said send it in! Off it went. Very disappointing

S&W once you upgrade the trigger and recoil spring to 22lb. also M&P 4 inch should have been used. If a gun is not reliable then its useless for personal protection, its like buying an Epi Pen that works 80% of the time.
Regular 10MM would suck as a rifle caliber. The ballistics just don’t hold up compared to the much faster moving rifle rounds. it does make for a good pistol hunting or with the right loading, a decent medium to large game self defense round.

Quality and function are often subjective, but I shot a Glock 22 for years as LE, then switched to the M&P. 16 years later I still carry an M&P. The M&P is a Cadillac compared to the Glock. I picked up the ported M&P Performance Center 10mm. Never looked back. The best firearm for you is the one you are the most competent with. The polymer plates are fine for the 10mm. The SRO RMR screws on with Loctite and you forget about it. No problems. The only thing I don't like about the M&P is the safety. I would prefer a weapon without one. Trying to manipulate the Glock take down "slides" on the side of the frame are PITA. The M&P needs to be kept clean and lubed. Even out of the box. That's per the manual.
There was a channel called gunblast and one of the tests he would do with every handgun is he would put it in some sort of vice that held the gun and the gun would be fired 25 yards to see how accurate the gun is !!!! Can't find a channel now that 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Have the Sig X-Ten, sold my Glock 40. Selling the Sig, buying another Glock 40. Sig is only a 15rd pistol. If you have one in the chamber of the Sig and insert a full mag, good luck trying to rack the slide! I left the mags fully loaded and compressed for two months, didn’t help. Failure to chamber the first round like this as well, no matter the ammo. But the real reason for the Glock 40 is a full 6 inch barrel. 10mm thrives in longer barrels, especially with Underwood, Grizzly, Buffalo Bore, and Double Tap. It can be up to a 100fps for that extra inch. Ask your girl if an extra inch makes a difference?! Aftermarket support is Glock all the way as well as the track record. The Sig feels great in the hand, but not as accurate as the Glock. I do not like the hinged trigger on the M&P, and they have a bad record for reliability. The Glock has the lowest recoil impulse of the three due to the low bore axis and long slide. I'm not a Glock fan boy , just my opinion based on my experience with each pistol.
Thank you for this 3-gun comparrison. - I'll pass on the entire SIG Sauer P320 series of pistols, including the X-Ten. A pistol design infamous for firing if dropped, and self-firing even while holstered... no thank you. I've seen multiple X-Ten pistols fail to feed 220 Gr and 230 Gr FN HCL ammo. Also, the pistol appears to be very top heavy. Why such a high bore axis on a striker-fired pistol? Pass. - Glock, the Honda Civic of handguns. That's because it's cheaply made and so widely and heavily modified and upgraded by its owners... frankly, because it needs to be. The unsupported chamber of its polygonal-rifling barrel and all those notorious Glock smiley-face bulges ruining spent cases, and all those kabooms. Crappy plastic throw-away sights. Crappy mushy trigger. A plastic RSA. Poor ergonomics. My own Gen3 Glock 20SF was a veritable jam-o-matic with heavy full-power 10mm Auto loads from Buffalo Bore, Underwood, and DoubleTap. It wouldn't reliably cycle UA 10mm Auto SGD Bonded JHP 165 Gr or 180 Gr ammo either (30% FTF / FTE rate). Glock perfection isn't. - The S&W M&P 10mm M2.0 pistols all come from the factory seriously undersprung (17# RSA, soft magazine springs). I guess so that old ladies can easily rack the slide and fully load the magazines. Put in longer stronger 11-coil Springer Precision magazine springs, and a 22# to 24# RSA, and cycling reliability improves a lot. However, I do seriously question the M&P 10mm magazine design. The feed lips are very short, and angled quite steep, much more so than in the 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP M&P magazines. The top cartridge is not very securely held in place, and it's at a steep angle. Also, the 10mm magazine lacks the side channels of the 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, which keep the cartridges aligned more tightly inside the magazine tube and away from the magazine ejection lock notch. This could potentially present a problem with uncommanded magazine drops when firing large heavy flat-nosed hardcast lead (FN HCL) bear-defense / hunting loads. IMHO, S&W should redesign their 10mm Auto 15-round magazines. All that said, I purchased the S&W M&P 10mm M2.0 4.6" pistol. Since upgrading the RSA and magazine springs in late May 2022, I've enjoyed 100% perfectly flawless functionality through 2,080 rounds of various 10mm Auto ammo. Good things! 👍

S&W once you upgrade the trigger and recoil spring to 22lb. also M&P 4 inch should have been used. If a gun is not reliable then its useless for personal protection, its like buying an Epi Pen that works 80% of the time.
Do the ports on the M&P make recoil “less” than others?
It does if you use the stock recoil spring. The extra power recoil spring will make the pistol a slight bit snappier.
So what do you recommend for woods gun?
Between those three? I’d probably go with the Glock because it’s the most reliable out of the three.
What is the reason for a caliber that tears guns/pistols apart? The 10mm needs to be more of a rifle caliber.
Regular 10MM would suck as a rifle caliber. The ballistics just don’t hold up compared to the much faster moving rifle rounds. it does make for a good pistol hunting or with the right loading, a decent medium to large game self defense round.
