Oi, I admit, it's a bit of a weird and unusual video of mine, but it sure was a nice change for me. 😂 And sure, go ahead and make fun of me living my life couchless. 🤣 In general, what are your thoughts on gaming on a couch or bed? Is it still too much of a hassle or is it worth the comfort? 😅
Pretty late to comment, but me being in a semi truck and gaming on a laptop hooked up to my tv, I was stuck playing controller supported games. This changed that for me
okay i love the review and was glad to see someone use it before i bought it, but i do i have to wonder about the validity of a guy testing a COUCH gaming lapboard named COUCHmaster CYCON² who doesnt even own a couch, it was so ironic i was laughing the whole time 😂😂😂 you earned my subscription
I travel a lot for work and often stay in hotels or tents that don't have desks. I have 2 cheaper different but similar tables that I bring with me and use on beds. One is just a board with some pads on the bottom and it's light and easy to handle. The other has adjustable, folding legs and it also works well but it isn't very stable. It easily falls over when trying to get out of a bed, for instance. Neither have arm supports like the one you just reviewed. For my purposes this Nerdytec desk looks like it would be almost perfect. Slap a gaming laptop on there and you're good to go.

That's true. I think the selling points on this are the "professional appearance" of a manufactured table and that the plastic table weighs less than any comparable sized wooden table and has the HUB/Dongles built in. While you CAN still build a dongle into a handmade table it might not look as good. If you need those features then this is great. Many people complain about the latency with wireless mice and keyboards too. I don't have one of these but I did try to game on a big TV with my PC a few times and I honestly think it's terrible. I had an incredibly hard time seeing the action I needed to see on the big screen and I played so much worse than I do on a normal sized monitor. That said, if I were to get one of these I would get it for my gaming laptop for use when I travel for work. Hotel desks aren't usually very comfortable to use and neither are the crusty chairs they always have! 😬 My bad for all this unsolicited information! 😬
I sit in a leather recliner. I wonder if the board is good enough to just sit on the arm rests.. The cushions are not needed. Only worry would be if it's wobbly on the recliner arms. The price is a bit high IMO. I also use wireless mouse and keyboard. No need for all those cables. So there is a lot of crap adding to the cost. I already have my own DIY setup with a wooden board (heavy for stability) sanded to a slope for comfort for arms. Solid as a rock. But in case I change recliner it might not fit.
Haha! Yup, that's my studio where all the video footage originates from. ;) Testing and scripting is taking place in my main "working" room, which is quite a bit smaller than the studio, though. And as you may have noticed, my studio is quite crammed... space is running out. Haha! :D
I bought one of these and for the most part it's rubbish. Don't get me wrong, when its all setup and I'm using it on the couch, it's really great. Everything else about this thing sucks. The holes for your cables have sharp edges that wear into your cables. The back panels are held on with 1 central screw so the cables fall out the sides every time its moved. Its a frustrating mission to install/uninstall the keyboard and mouse so you want to have a dedicated set for this. Every time you want to get up you have to put it somewhere and it's bulky. If while moving it the cable gets caught on something, it rips the cable out from inside and you have to pull the back off to reattach it. It's super expensive for what it is, 2 crappy cushions and a poorly made board.

it could work also maybe sell a version with out the cushions as some people may use a chair and it could rest on the arms of the chair 😁

Hopefully you have a couch now to enjoy it
Very nice I am totally gonna get one for my upcoming gaming laptop. :)
tbh, the price is to much for something one can put together and then just use a wireless gaming mouse and keyboard for far less then just this.

Great review. This is cool, but I'd still use a controller as the mousepad is too small for my sensitivity and I also lack a couch. :D
Oh, I'm happy I'm not the only one without a couch. :D
Jesus how much space do you normally use for a mouse? A whole desk

Thought I'd chime in and just let you know you can get just the board for a little cheaper
I hear you man I don't own a bed. lol
Where do you sleep? :o

lookin' good, Nic! (no homo) :)
but your "couch" in this video.. I don't know, man. looks very uncomfy to me :D
Haha, thanks! :D
Oh and that "couch" surprisingly looks worse than it really is. I've had real chairs that were worse than my makeshift "couch". ;)
Well you look different than how you sound....thats a good thing lol I just notice in your name 11x12 is that the space you work in? Just curious.✌😁

First time seeing you. You look clean 😉🌹
Haha, thanks! :D
ur the best
Haha, thanks! xD
So would a keyboard and mouse ug into the cycon² and the cycon² plugs into the PC? And if that's the case would it increase input lag?
It will definitely increase input lag a little but the difference will probably be so small you won't even notice
Is this a review or an existential crisis? I felt that. Good video
A little bit of both, I guess. Hahaha! :D
Thank you!
I dont have a sofa but but a bed so it will be a bed desk lol
is this left handed compatible ?

This looks so dumb but I want one for playing Xbox or pc with a keyboard and mouse and nothing else looks as comfortable 🙈 great review very useful
Thanks for the review I will be looking into this to help me get out of the chair.
my couch only has a depth of 54cm, would this be too big for it?

is it good for a legion gaming laptop too?
Why would it matter what laptop you have?
10/10 awesome!
