Your collection is truly beautiful and inspiring. I think that you lite my crassula interest once more. I only have about 9 varieties from a previous 27 variety collection. I am happy that you can share your plants with us via videos. I am way to self conscious to do so. Hopefully I’ll get over myself and realize that people need these informative experiences shared. Thank you. 😊
What a fantastic collection you have. I have the normal string of buttons and the variegated and baby’s necklace. I love how easy the string of buttons are so easy to propagate. I’m determined to have a massive bucket full of each one 😂 Us plant people really are a little crazy.
love your video! I just got into the stacking crassulas. I had been avoiding them due to the stretching...but they are so cute! I've tried buddah's temple twice with no luck and am waiting on my third one to arrive in the mail. Fingers crossed! Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection!
Yay Marija! So inspiring! I don't know what it is, but just love videos on specific typesof succulent collections. You have so many beautiful ones it's hard to choose one favourite. May they all thrive for you! Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection with us. From the garden city of India to you, have a great weekend! Cheers.
You have such a beautiful collection! I've only gotten into collecting plants recently, and your channel was one of the first ones that I found and really loved. You've inspired me to start collecting so many new succulents and cacti, and I look forward to each of your videos!
I love crassula, and want to collect more, I know when winter comes I will have grow lights for my succulents, Idaho winters can be brutal and I know this last winter they struggled, but still managed to survive with no casualties. I have a bunch of succulents that I don't know the names of them, the common ones like burro's tail and aloe, and I have a variegated bear paw, but some of the others I'm not sure of their names, I need to do some research and tag them. I had no idea there were so many different varieties of crassula, that is amazing, they are just beautiful, I love how some look like roses, all compact and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing Marija, I love all of them.
Holly Hasegawa Nielson you’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😊. You will definitely need lights just like I do in Michigan. Good luck with growing and expanding your collection!
Hi hope your well. Lovely collection you have. Never give up. I believe the Budder Temple does not have a great root system. So I keep mine in a small terracotta pot and keep it on the dry side. Cause they do seem to get rot problems very easily. Good look and keep trying.
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 yup know exactly what you mean. I remember seeing a nodulosa oin your collection that wasnt etiolating. that is probably the most etiolation-prone echeveria I've ever seen
Did you ever figure out the one at 4:34? Is it a different type of Crassula rupestris? I thought at first it was Crassula conjuncta. My favorite is still the Crassula perforata variegata. I know it's not rare, I just love it!
Great video. I have a Sinocrassula Yunanensis and it hasn't grown any that I can tell. Could you please give me some information about caring for the plant. Thanks
Joyce Shelby I care for it in a same way as for other Crassulas. Water once a week. Close to lights. Same soil. I see it’s growing so I suppose it’s happy 😊
Hello, Darling Marija! I've been loving your videos. This year I set a new year's resolution to learn how to keep plants alive. And like a lot of new beginners, I started with succulents! Your collection is so truly impressive. Especially your indoor overhanging LED lamp. I have a question. I recently bought an LEG light from amazon to use on my jade and cacus. But I'm afraid it will get very hot. My other succulents are happy in a window sill. But I wonder if maybe I should buy another LED for upcoming winter. Heres my question -- will an LED lamp burn succulents / plants? Or is it just the heat that burns them (not the light). Thanks for the awesome content! Meagan
TwitchMeagan I have never ever had light burn so it’s safe to have them close. Only if you spray alcohol or pesticide it can burn plants when they are under any lights.
I found if a plant seems to be dehydrated usually there is a lime deficiency. Because lime help the roots draw up water. If you can test to see how acidic the soil is. Then add a little lime if it's high acidity
Many thanks for sharing your collection.....I have recently started collecting Crassula so found this really useful.......Can you tell me what type of lighting you are using during the winter months please. I have a greenhouse which i intended to use but am really impressed on how all your plants have even growth all over.....many thanks
Thuy Luu yes, but very little during the year. I bought it at Home Depot. I have also made ‘tea’ for my succulents in early spring by leaving tea bags in the water for a few days and then watering with it.
They are wonderful. I have one question - I can't find a big difference between the crassula jade's necklace and baby necklace. Is the main difference between them in the size of the 'buttons' ? You have a great collection :)
Teodora Kosturska yes, the “buttons” are little smaller and more square shaped in Jade’s Necklace. The color is different too. More yellowish orange and green compared to baby’s necklace that has dark red edges.
Question, roughly how often do you water your crassula? I e had some summer time issues with watering. I know your live in a different climate but I can gather some good information with any kind of answer or guess. Thanks!
Erin S. I water every week. They don’t have actual summer heat unsure because it’s so moderate. The soil gets dry every 5 days so I think they need it. I water little less few of them, established big Crassula, Jades because I can see they are content with every two weeks watering.
Christina Eilers some are bought at Lowe’s, some at the nurseries near me and most of them from sellers on Succulent Marketplace group that’s on Facebook.
Crystal find them a good spot with light. Place in soil and water every few days small amounts of water like few table spoons of water to stimulate growth
Hi Marija. Beautiful collection, I have a question do you have mealybugs problem with your crassula moonglow? I been having alot of mealybugs on my. And my springtime crassula. Beautiful collection God bless 🤗🤗
A Lainez I did have a lot of mealy bugs in the last few years on Crassula spring time, String of Buttons and few other but somehow not moonglow. They are all better this year while they stayed inside. That little one I didn’t know name is from you 😊. I was so sad that Crassula pastel that you sent completely dried up while traveling. I know you must have paid quite a bit for it.
Very nice video .you have nice collection of crassulla

The pyramidais and brevifolia I really love! I hope your deceptor recovers.... Crassulas can be so frustrating with their stretching
Iza Szydlowska yes! Actually I find equally frustrating when echeverias stretch, it’s like they lost their beautiful look so quickly sometimes.

Do you use fertiliser?

Wow! Beautiful plants! I just got a string of buttons and found you. Are you saying that they grow in winter? So do I water more in winter? Thanks!!
eM J yes, they are winter growers and rest during summee

Christina Eilers some are bought at Lowe’s, some at the nurseries near me and most of them from sellers on Succulent Marketplace group that’s on Facebook.
I just got some really dry cuttings of Crassula Perforata- string of buttons in the mail, what should I do with them to get them to root?
