Wow lots of comments about how boring it is. Christine please dont listen to that. I can see you take a lot of joy in plants and are passionate about them! I think it's great. Keep doing what you love not everyone will love every video but as long as you do it shouldn't matter. Btw I find these videos very interesting. From one Maui girl to another aloha!
Yeah, Christine. Only listen to the yay-sayers. And next time you ask your long time subs and audience again what they'd like to see more of, listen only to people like Taylor and what she likes to watch. It's just as legitimate to say 'that's boring' as it is to say 'I love watching plants grow (or paint dry)'. There's not disrespect, and multiple opinions (and feedback) are valid.
People are acting as if they’re owed something from Christine. Smh. You don’t pay to watch her videos. If you want to voice your opinion that’s one thing, but to constantly complain about it is senseless.
@@yardname5110 Im telling her to produce the content that she finds interesting and the things she takes joy in. Thats regardless of what I like to watch.
Im pissed at the comments because some of these people act like they pay for this channel. "Im subscribed to see shopping and eating vlogs". So irritatng since ive watched this channel 5 years now and Christine should do what makes her happy.
I have been LOVING your plant videos!! they're so interesting and I find them very calming to watch :) you're obviously very educated on plants and it's so nice to listen to you talk about them xxx
I developed a love for succulents years ago after watching your videos. Now I have a small collection of succulents and I’m even propagating plants, all thanks to you.
That's so great!! Your collection will get so much bigger in sure! Once you start growing succulents you can't stop, there is always that one more I need lol 🤗 Happy planting! Enjoy your beauties of nature!
11:29 that’s called phototropism when a plant moves towards the light source it needs. I took botany class in college. These plants are so unique and pretty! You are so gentle, nurturing and maternal with them.
This is so great !!! Love all the information you have on different type of plants !! I’m learning so much !! Thank you !! Looking forward to the next one !!
You're making me want to go buy succulents right now! But there's a snowstorm outside... Maybe you should open a small shop. Start growing your own. People would buy. My mom's friend says propagated plants are something she sells most of at her garage sales. You clearly have a love for them learning their Latin names and all.
This is great! I’m a beginner with succulents and love how gentle and soft spoken you are in this video. Makes it a relaxing as well educating experience for me.
You are so knowledgeable about all the types of plants. I can’t pronounce any! Lol. Beautiful collection! Thanks Christine. Hello to you and Michael! ❤️❤️❤️
Christine, your videos are fascinating. I'm a disaster at gardening, but I can see how you seem to feel what the plants need. Absolutely fascinating. Maybe someday I could do this too. Your plants are gorgeous.
Hello!! Loved this video. Could you list the materials used for potting and top dressing in the description of the video portion? Also LOVE the pots and your brush technique. You make things looks so sensible and easy.
Christine...I, soo enjoy your video’s. 💕👏👍👏💕 Your video’s have educated me and reinvigorated me into getting back into caring for plants. Today, I went to Home Depot and I bought 7 terra cotta pots, and white, gold spray paint cans, and paint to paint the terra cotta pots and I bought about 10 plants. 😂 A new destressor hobby...Thank You! Just know that you and your hubby are Appreciated and Thank You for sharing your life. Wishing you a ton of continued success and prosperity from your You Tube video’s. Once, I start posting my Nursing destressor video’s...I will be giving you credit.
Ooohhhh I love this video. Thank you. Christine - I just want to applaud you so much for taking the time and effort to speak the Latin names with such clarity. I used to speak fluent Latin (due to Catholic school education K-12 and in those days we studied Latin an hour a day). I am in love with the last plant you showed - how beautiful the light is reflected through the bodies. Gorgeous. Who knew roots could be so interesting? You are giving me a new appreciation of the plant world and how to treat them. Interesting and fun - you're such a good teacher.
Listened to this while trying to fix up a haworthia cymbiformis of mine that has gotten pretty leggy. Hoping with better sunlight it will do better! Thanks for the video and the company.
Gorgeous plants🤩💖! I love Haworthias! They were my first succulent to have as I had a tiny balcony twenty years ago, now I have a good collection of species and hybrids.
I really loved this video! I have been trying to grow succulents, but they wouldn't grow. Now I know why...wrong potting medium and way overwatering! I find these videos interesting and fun to watch. Not boring at all...watching someone make a smoothie every day, now that's boring.
I LOVE this video! Your voice is so relaxing. I just made a mix like your yesterday. I've never seen anyone else make one like this . Do you use it for a lot of succulents? What brand of coir is that ? Thanks so much for all these awesome details! Just the type of detail I want in a video 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love the new direction that you are taking! I LOVE plants and flowers, I live in Alberta Canada and it is cold (the past few days was -28 c with the wind chill...brutal) so I really look forward to our growing season, and I really enjoy watching your plant videos!
I find Haworthias in my area (Indonesian lowland) tolerate a good 2-3 hours of full midday sun and a wetter soil than most echeverias and cacti. Indonesia is extremely humid and Howarthias look better after a good 2-3 days of straight water. I do play it safer with a low bowl. Also about the winter growing, I don't know how that works here in tropical areas, but mine grow year round!
wonderful video, i love succulents and love to see them thriving. i learned a lot of new stuff from this. your love for these plants really shows with how much you know about each variety and how you accomdate all their different needs.
I’m loving the videos on your succulents Christine! I’m moving To Tucson in just a couple months! So I’ll need all the help that I can get. I really miss your weekly life vlogs too. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love the plant videos but I just missed seeing what you do on a daily basis. Hopefully those will come back soon take care.
I enjoy watching your channel. I hope you read my note as I need to obtain more knowledge about this video regarding the second succulent you repotted. I loved this video and learning more and more about succulents and replanting from you. I’m just wondering why you hadn’t pull off the the one bulb/leave(I can’t remember the appropriate name) that appeared to dying off?
It's so cute the way you talk about your plants like they're babies. I don't think any of those cuties are available in Massachusetts where I live, but I'm enjoying learning about them anyway. So cute!
Thanks for the information! I'm new to haworthias. I'll be honest... I thought it was boring because I bought it in the summer. It hasn't been a year and it's definitely establishing a "haworthias only club" in a shared pot.
Wow! U r so knowledgeable about botanicals! I was wondering if u ever plan on a video showing how to take care of ordinary house plants. I keep trying but I’m not very successful. Succulents don’t do well while I live and aren’t really available. I have noticed peet soil doesn’t do very well.
I’m curious what you think about this mix for your truncada? I have one coming in the mail this week and I need to restock my mix supplies. So I wanted to get your opinion before heading to the nursery. Thank you for posting these videos they are SO informative.
Another amazing video 🤗. I am in love with the Haworthia’s you featured. I have one or two of the of the regular Cooperi, and the Tregita (msp?) I would love the clear window Cooperi. I also have like 5 Zebra’s. I think those are interesting I can’t wait for Lowe’s or Home Depot to get in some new succulents, it’s been on the slim to none side right now. I wish we had any cool local nurseries here 😢. I’m still hoping to convince the hubby to road trip it down to Arizona this Spring. Don’t think we’ll make for the Gem and Mineral show, so I will definitely watch for your video. You know I was thinking 🤔 💭 you should have been a neurosurgeon, you are so incredibly delicate when you plant 😝 definitely need to get down there to pick up some cool pots and planting materials. Take care 🥰💜🌺🌸
Hi Cristine, love your passion for flowers and your latest videos are quite relaxing to watch, but I would prefer to watch other things as well. Have a nice weekend.
Fabulous Video! I really appreciate the pace of your videos; sometimes I feel a bit frantic after watching a video that’s rushed. Not the desired result. Thanks for all the valuable information and its thoughtful presentation. Well done!
Its so lovely to see all of your dedication and research and passion for succulents come together in these videos! So interesting, especially because your passion shines through. Pay no attention to negative comments, you'll never please everyone, especially those living in the past who can't appreciate the natural process of human growth. People are not stagnant beings, their interests ebb and flow. I love watching this process. :) Keep doing what you love!
Long time sub here, I have enjoyed following your journey and passions through your videos. You inspired me to declutter back in the day, and I really like the aesthetic you have developed into. I used to be a succulent fanatic so these videos are right up my alley. Keep up the good work :)
Hi, this is the first time I’ve joined you and I thought this video was great. I recently bought a couple of Howarthias and it was great to see what you are using for a substrate. Will look forward to more of your videos. Cheers, Judy
This is the first time I've watched a video from you, and I'm so impressed! I'm tired of hearing growers that don't really know what they're talking about. Such as giving haworthias full sun, that they're winter dormant, so much more. I'm only half way thru this first video and I've already liked it and subscribed with notifications! I also call my little guys babies and I can see how much love you put into them! Thanks again and I can't wait to see more from you 💖!
I just bought a haworthia, & I want MORE!. Thanks for sharing the potting soil mix along with your other knowledge. Do you drill drainage holes in the urn-shaped pots you use? ( I didn't see any saucers underneath.)
I recently purchased a hawarthia cymbiformis, my first hawarthia ever, so it's great to get tips from you! What treatment do you give your terracotta pots to give them that limewashed look?
Wow! You should create an online course about this! You are so knowledgeable, articulate and do videos so beautifully. I can help you if you ever want to. And you don’t even make a mess :)
I thoroughly enjoyed this - first time watching one of yours - I subscribed. Where did you purchase your pots or do you know who makes them. They are so pretty.

You should open a small nursery. Not should could😊
This is so great !!! Love all the information you have on different type of plants !! I’m learning so much !! Thank you !! Looking forward to the next one !!
Omg I love when you chastise your climber for trying to attack the haworthia!! Love your video, thanks for sharing

I could listen to you all day...you have such knowledge and passion for these pretty babies 🌵

Very nice! I think it's time you get that greenhouse you mentioned you'd like to have! 😁

Hmm using a nice makeup brush for your succulents! Can't help but feel that it's a reflection of how much you love them ;)
Always loved you plant and crystal videos. You got me interested in plants again a couple of years ago

I was browsing through videos because I became interested in growing plants again and I didn't realize i was already subscribed to you!

Living in Chicago I repot poinsettias and try to keep alive they are so pretty - love watching your plant videos!

Great video!! They are such cute succulents!! Thank you so much for sharing!!🌵🐞🐝
Wow! You should create an online course about this! You are so knowledgeable, articulate and do videos so beautifully. I can help you if you ever want to. And you don’t even make a mess :)
Who the hell disliked this video😠😠.. She is totally a life saver of plants.
I am quite confused about your second "soil" mix ; gravel + turfus . How do they get nutrients ? Do you give them sth. later or what ?
What a beautiful succulent! Thanks for sharing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this - first time watching one of yours - I subscribed. Where did you purchase your pots or do you know who makes them. They are so pretty.

I love these plant videos, you are so inspiring. Keep up the great work and thanks

I love watching your videos! I find them so calming and so informational! Also, those were some really beautiful succulents.I’m from Ontario, Canada and I’m trying to keep my succulents alive but I’m struggling. I think it’s due to the environment. Any tips for colder climates and limited sun access? Maybe some kind of plant light?
Hi Christine, I love your plant videos. I wondered if you could do a video on the 'Pea' succulent (or String of Pearls) please. I'm sure I saw one in the background?? Thank you 😁
