    Hands down the best hunting show anywhere. Thanks for putting it out. Congrats Todd.

      James Lightizer You gotta check out Tim Wells show Relentless Pursuit. Hands down the best hunting show out there. He shoots bear finger instinctively as well as uses a spear and a blowgun. He shoots birds from flight. Absolutely incredible.

      While I agree with you that he's entertaining, he's also a freak of nature. Nobody can do what he does. I certainly can't. That makes it less "real" to me. What these guys do is Amazing, but I feel like I can almost relate. Granted, I hunt in NH - so we have nowhere near the success rates that any of these guys have, but I can watch this show without wanting to puke in my mouth at how easy it looks.

    I love Justin's comment on second guessing our spot choice! Todd went with his hunting nature gut feeling and capitalized! I love using the cameras to kill big bucks. It's another chess piece to use. Awesome hunt congrats Todd!

    Super jealous Todd. Great buck! Sling me a bit of meat one of these days :D Into Bike Touring/Packing now, riding all over sneaking into hidden fishing spots. Gotta be careful wild camping with deer season upon us here in Illinois.

    Great buck,I love your videos,best out there in my opinion.I have a question that maybe you guys can clear up for me,I watch tons of hunting videos,and have noticed that pretty much everyone carries their bow back in with them after dark.Is that just for the video?Absolutely not trying to be negative,just curious,I would be afraid where I hunt that DNR would try to say I was night hunting.

    I have a question . Bow season starts in Oklahoma October 1st. There's been a nice Doe that's been coming in and feeding but this last week or so she's only coming in a couple times a week and at night now. How can I get her to start coming back in the morning or afternoon times???

    Nice symmetry, I have tried cell cams in the past but had no luck, I live in Michigan along the border with Canada and the interference renders the cameras obsolete.

  • @1234tric

    I think that kind of technology is great. May be it will at least let us see some of those crooks that steal our trail cameras. I was surprised to learn that the acorns were hitting the ground so soon and the bucks were scraping. Are you hunting 2017?

    I noticed your Lumanock failed to stay lit. Same that happened to me. Now I use nocturnal lighted knocks

    • @OutdoorShellback
      @OutdoorShellback 7 років тому

      Noticed that and I wonder if it was either too far out of the arrow shaft or just too tight inside and didn't want to stay seated when it made contact. Nothing is 100%, but I've had no issues with mine yet.

    I personally think the GSM/Cellular cameras are a great tool. But my problem is the price point is just too much for your average joe to be able to outfit his hunting properties with them. BY the way love the show! #BHOD

    I personally have nothing against cams that transmit images but B&C won't allow entries where they have been used...not an issue for me but begs the question: when is it no longer fair chase?

    I don't like the idea of the wireless trail cams whatsoever. Use your God-given senses (in person), and make the hunt as natural of an experience as possible. The more work you put into the scouting and the hunt, the more rewarding it will be. Just an opinion of a lowly Wisconsin Bow Hunter :) Good video though guys.

    One question, how do you NOT get a pass through on a buck at 15 yards? Stop trying to squeeze out every fps you can with the lighter arrows and get the heavy hitters. Can't tell you how many non pass throughs I've seen on this show with guys still in the "speed freak" phase

    • @bowhuntordie
      @bowhuntordie  7 років тому

      He's shooting a 60 lb bow with a 440 grain arrow - hardly a "speed freak" setup. The arrow hit the off side leg bone and stopped.

  • @BergyBowsmith
    @BergyBowsmith 7 років тому

    Todd you need some higher FOC arrows that should have passed through

    • @justinzarr7877
      @justinzarr7877 7 років тому

      I believe the off side leg actually stopped the arrow. Otherwise I'm sure it would have. He said Killzone Maxx nearly cut the heart in half which will definitely get the job done, pass through or not.

    • @BergyBowsmith
      @BergyBowsmith 7 років тому

      Nice to know thanks for clarification Justin !

      You only get so much info from a video

    • @BrotherWind
      @BrotherWind 7 років тому +1

      Not trying to be negative, but I think the point is if you don't hit the heart a higher foc arrow tipped with a fixed blade broadhead is sticking in the ground on the other side of the deer. Perhaps no difference in outcome, but I've made that same shot and went through the bone with a zwickey

      I'm sure you're just an everlasting fountain of knowledge bud. No argument there. I'll keep aiming for the heart and you keep aiming for the lungs and we'll just keep getting along like the sportsman we are. Good luck out there this year. 👍🦌🇺🇸
