    Todd I'm one of your biggest fans. Have been all 10 seasons. My wife thinks I'm obsessed even. But I swear some of the Bucks you pass make me want to climb in that tree after you and... Yeah! But you always make it worth it in the end. That's why you are the Boss! Congrats Bro!!!

    I always use pine branches in around the base of all my stands. The pine needles stay on and green for ever and even gives off a pine scent pine branches are a great tool to help hide that tree stand and make it look well like a one tree.

    Nothing like that feeling after you know you made a great shot on a big buck. I had that feeling a couple days ago on the ground. A big 9 point at 15 yards away walked by me while I sat on the ground. I sent the arrow home👍

      Beast? lol he is the opposite of a beast! Did you see all the bucks and how good his land is? In today's world you can pay for big bucks and the hunters who can afford to buy great land have the best odds of killing big bucks. My point is anyone can do that on that land. Rule in hunting is if someone else can come on your property and do the same thing or better then you are far from a beast. Grinders with 5-10 acres or less who kill pope n youngs every year are beasts

    Congrats Todd u know great hunter experience is gained by actually watching and letting decent bucks go. Yes most fellas would shoot those 120 s but for the hunters who hunt for Horns letting them decent bucks pass is great practice and makes you more calm when those bucks come by

      @@ToddGraf1 exactly I get my head chewed off tho by the so called ,eat hunters. If your a hunter who's got top of line gear ect were looking for 140s minimum 130s and kills me to see every yr all the 1 1/2 -2 yr olds that score 10 to 45" piss me off let the deer get to at least 3 - 31/2 I'd rather let the beautiful thing go and get him next yr or 2. It's def tough finding the ones worthy for the wall I guess when u do it males it that much more special. Congrats sir enjoy watching your hunts.

    • @michaelp2259
      @michaelp2259 4 роки тому

      BAims depends also on what state your in I live in South Carolina. Huntings a little tougher than some of the states these guys hunt. Love the show nonetheless. But the land I hunt is also not far from a couple dog driving clubs which shoots everything that moves! And it's also not uncommon to hear 3 or 4 shots in an evening while hunting. Average life span of a deer in South Carolina is probably 2 years if you were to shoot a 5-6 yr old buck you def have accomplished something around here in my area! So it's hard for me to let a deer walk when I could have the meat rather than a neighbor or dog club kill it! Not to mention here in South Carolina you can shoot 5 bucks and 8 does per person. But a lot of the dog clubs will get quota tags where they can shoot way more than that. Some clubs have kill over 200 deer in a season not far from where I hunt

  • @baims8367
    @baims8367 5 років тому +1

    Todd nice buck and u sure have patience he looks young tho isn't he. What he score mid 140s?

    • @ToddGraf1
      @ToddGraf1 5 років тому

      Honesty score is not that important to me. But to answer your question yes I think he might be a really good 3-year-old. I thought he was older but when he was coming in I was like - Ya baby that's what I'm looking for :)!

    Great hunt, Todd! Good stuff. On the "review:" of the Matthews, and I mean no offense, but anyone who is sponsored by a company cannot give a review that I'd actually consider. You guys are awesome...but of course you'll give the Matthews bow a great review.

    • @bowhuntordie
      @bowhuntordie  5 років тому +1

      Our goal with the review was to give everyone a look at the new bow, our initial impressions, and document the speed with a variety of arrows. The speed results you can clearly see for yourself with no bias. As the video editor here, I can attest to Todd not being able to stop talking about how much he loves the bow. Hopefully, we provided enough information for you to make an educated decision to go to your local bow shop and try it for yourself.

      Sweet so how far out can you zoom on deer until it’s blurry. I have a cheap camera now to start filming I’ve used my iPhone for 4 years and have 10 or so kills on video but this year is the first year I’ve used a camera and I just bought a 200$ camera to start first doe this year I was videoing some how turned it off 😂 idk but that camera sucks out past 25 30 yards gets super blurry. Did get another doe kill on film this year though 😬 and it was raining so I didn’t get my turkey on camera a few days ago so I’m struggling 😝

    • @bowhuntordie
      @bowhuntordie  5 років тому +1

      @@joshuakerr3291 Its getting blurry when you zoom in because its using what they call digital zoom. It's not actually zooming with the lens, it just increasing the size of the video. Just like when you pinch and expand an image on your phone to increase the size, it gets blurry as it gets bigger. If your looking for a new camera look for one with more than a 10-15x zoom (non-digital) most camera companies advertise " 20x-40x digital zoom* on the box, but you gotta read the fine print. It'll usually say the actual zoom in the specs.
