This is classic. I remember seeing this when I was a little girl, about 10yrs of age, about 57yrs ago. We were visiting my aunt. It was a Saturday afternoon she and my mom went to wash clothes at the laundromat and my cousin was out with friends. I'm in the house all alone found this on TV. I watched the whole thing by myself I was too scared to move.😅 Now at 57, I watched it again, it's so adorable. They just don't make great horror movies like this anymore. I can actually watch this with my grandchildren.😊
Im 58 & this is my first time watching it after decades of viewing the pictures of the monster in horror film magazines & books. Its good so far.

Love the staring eyeball protruding from his shoulder. Killer!
This movie scared a lot of kids back in the 60's, when it was shown as the Saturday "Creature Feature" on TV.
10 minutes in, I'm impressed by the sets and the set decorations, the earnest but successful expository dialogue, the monster makeup and the opening flourish where the mermaid's blood was splashed on the screen during the opening credits, so I'll come back and see how things work out.
A fave from the late 50s! Delightfully weird and grim. And now, in color! Wow!!!

This one of my guilty pleasure films, remember catching it on channel 32 in chicago back in the 70’s… ahh, only about 13 channels, but I always had something to watch! Now, I got 1000 channels and nothing but infomercials about erectile disfunction 😫

I grew up in the Smoky Mountains and we got one channel. Sometimes if it was cloudy we'd get the TV from West Virginia as the reception would skip on the clouds. We got mostly 1930s westerns, so I love finding these now.

One of the best cheap-o monster movies. A big part for me is the snappy dialogue, and the lead role of Larry. Never saw colorized. Not bad.
I was drawn in by the infidelity.
