- Join us on the start of a new adventure, heading to the Isle of Mull for a week of hiking and exploration! Here we take our car across to the island from Oban to Craignure and then head straight for the nearby Duart Castle! We also head to and take a look round our great accommodation for the next seven days…

A bit of a misty day but ah I do love those Scotland castles...
Spell it Oban pronounce it Obun check out Wiki. Lots to do and plenty to see on Mull but not to our liking. First visit was good but subsequent visits showed the locals getting squeezed out and a less friendly atmosphere. Hope you liked it though.
Hi Dave, I remember you saying on one of your past vlogs about the locals...for the most part, we found most people were friendly, perhaps views have changed post-COVID and the isle's happy people are spending again! Interesting about pronouncing Oban "Obun", I never get it quite right, even with the shorter named towns. Cheers, Simon

The views from the ferry were nice it’s always a pleasure being on one of them …it reminds us the ones we took in British Columbia when heading to Vancouver island . So another adventure in Scotland for some great hiking and discovering. 👍👏Your view from your RB&B looks nice and is a good looking place for a rest …very lovely !

Wow, incredible to know, wherever we go, we come across so much scaffolding...
Hi both , you stayed in a lovely location that you left, I loved Elaine's description of ' atmospheric ' 🤭 That scenic drive was so beautiful and when you got to Oban the harbour area was stunning and that tower was really good to see with great views over Oban. That ferry seemed quick which was good and I loved seeing 13th century Duart Castle and i really liked the look of your new home for the week in Bunesan where you have amazing views. You'll totally be relaxing there. Loved this tour and that lapse of the sky was so nice. I do like time lapses . Thanks both :) ~ Anna 👍

You had amazing views form the ferry. Loved the mountainous islands and the lighthouse and the rainbows. Duart Castle looked pretty fantastic too. In spite of the scaffolding. Looks like your accommodation for the week is excellent as well. You really did have some amazing views there. Thanks for taking us along!
