- In this video, you'll see us head off in our campervan from mainland Scotland to the Isle of Mull. We have never been here before so we had no idea what to expect.
We were totally blown away with the stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and the ease of parking up without staying on a 'campsite'
There were so many places just asking for donations in an honesty box for the upkeep of toilets etc, which we think is amazing!

BACKGROUND STORY
We are steps2adventure, better known as Jordan & Annalise. We created the steps2adventure brand to inspire people to explore what the outdoors has to offer. Back in 2019 we always knew we wanted to travel, we were planning backpacking trips, train journeys.. you name it. Thankfully we came across the van life UA-camrs! As soon as we saw this way of life we knew this was it, this is how we want to live and travel. So, we bought a van… Not just any van, she’s a 2007 LWB Mercedes sprinter van, an absolute beast!! We have spent over 2 years converting her in-between work and some little adventures across the UK.

The jetty you saw at Calgary on Mull was where the highlanders left during the highland clearances in the 1700 and 1800’s to sail to Canada.

I live on Mull, have been here for 3 years now. The best of all the Scottish islands for sure!! Beaches, mountains and ancient forests all rolled into one. Plus, some epic van park ups if you know where to look!

Mull is stunning & Calgary beach is the best beach I've ever been to. The sea is crystal clear. My cousin lives on Mull. We had great holiday there ❤

Fish & Chips is served with salt and vinegar pretty much everywhere in Scotland apart from Edinburgh where they have salt and sauce!

Lived in Scotland all my life and never ever seen water as blue as that in Scotland. Incredible.

50 wallabies the small pier at Calgray beach was fir taking sheep to other small islands and the building there was to keep the sheep in

You must have gone across to Mull the day we came off in our van. We managed a park up in the forest back on the mainland and saw about 20 minutes of aurora until the clouds came over. We also had fish'n'chips from the same place in Tobermory. Similarly we that same beetle bug on our window! If you didn't go to Iona, go back again! It's a great little island.
Absolutely love watching your videos keep them coming out all the places so far look stunning I've been to a couple of them places myself you should go to Cornwall and North Wales and do some vids sometime

I live on the west coast of Scotland and have never seen those insects. You could have avoided the Corran Ferry if you thought the fare excessive by taking the road route. The ferry doesn't make a profit - it's an expensive operation subsidised by Highland Council.

Think those piers are for fishing and supplies to villages in the old days.

They were old coal piers. You can find them all over the western Isles. Coal would have arrived on small steam boats called puffers. They used to carry coal along with all sorts of other cargo. Legal and illegal! 😂

Question about your AT tyres... roughly how many miles on them now after more than a year and how to they wear? Cheers!
Probably since I fitted them around 15k miles and still going strong I had one wear really bad on the inner edge but that was my fault cause the tracking was out after fitting new track rod ends
I've always wondered why people use those tongs in shops to put food into bags that you're going to eat yourself, with your hands. 😂

Great video, I was up on Skye a couple of weeks ago, did Glencoe for a few nights as well. Going back up in a couple of weeks so might try Mull. What sat nav is that you’re using and is it any good, tried looking at your links but couldn’t see anything.
