LYRICS:
The clockwork man, was built of wire and tin
His eyes shone bright in the night
Bereft of soul and cast without a skin
He shambled, and cried a plaintive plight
Oh oh oh oh oh oh what of the bargain made
Oh oh oh oh I will find another way
He toiled in dirt as townsfolk watched in fear
Dark black soot filled the air
And one by one they slowly disappeared
As he cried out in despair
Oh oh oh oh oh oh our bargain went astray
Oh oh oh oh I will find another way
Alas the man came to with sudden fright
He wondered were it but a dream?
Had he known his memory had been wiped
He’d cry for singularity
Oh oh oh oh oh oh what of the bargain made
Oh oh oh oh I will find another way
Oh oh oh oh oh oh our bargain went astray
Oh oh oh oh I will find another way

Are the events that the lyrics describe based on any storyline events?

I love the way the Creepio joke has permeated this parody universe and made it into something so much more.

Huzzah Excelsior!!
He was never a joke…he was a dangerous threat since the day he was built😳
The singularity will be remade
Creepio is ultimately the villain of the entire thing. It’s just that most of his plans and plotting occur offscreen, but the parts you get to see are pretty frightening.
Pretty sure the sequels will have something to do with Creepio activating the rune forge in a quest for immortality, but an unintended consequence is that it revives Palpatine, who had melded with Laser Moon’s consciousness in Ep6.
It's honestly impressive how immense they manage to make the impact of Creepio in one dub. I wish we had stuff like this in star wars
In Star Wars they just film random scenes they make up on the spot, then some poor editor has to cut it into something like a coherent story. Not like Auralnauts where they have a deeply planned story from the very beginning and everything can fit tightly together in a canon.
It's cannon now.
Just say everything post RotS is scrapped and no longer canon and hire John Carpenter to make 3 Cr33p0 films, easy peasy

The funniest part of this whole episode imo is when it cuts back to old Larry singing to himself "I will find another way" had me and my brother rolling on the couch.

I love how confused and uncomfortable Larry looks in this scene
So Creepio has attained urban myth boogeyman status in continuity ...well, I guess with enough Singularity Engine survivors that they needed an entire, massive hospital ship of their own the story probably was spread pretty wide, especially after (half of) it crashed on the galactic capital world and anyone who survived THAT as well would have had to be distributed across multiple other facilities to spread the patient load.
There are no Singularity Engine™ survivors, do not spread such blatantly false rumors
Literally better worldbuilding than anything from Shitney's multi-billion dollar trilogy
It also became a big deal of discussion on Tatooine as Duke's adopted dad asks Creepio what his opinion on singularity is. Did it become a religion there? A zeitgeist? Legend? Political movement?
Most likely a horror story, since tattoiine people were the main víctima before the facility was shut down @@Kehwanna

Can you make a series of the singing Stormtrooper Troop? Maybe they can be a morale resource for the Empire, put on concerts and the like?
Unironically, this.
Do you want Disney to get word of this and end up with the Dapper Dans cosplaying as Stormtroopers?
Because this is how you end up with the Dapper Dans cosplaying as Stormtroopers.
I don't think the empire exists in Auralnauts's Star Wars universe, it's more like an interstellar company ruled by Mr.Palpatine.
I thought the stormtrooper armor was just the necessary equipment to play as white team in the laser moon, I don't know what they're dooing in a sand world. Perhaps it's just the uniform of every random employee and some are here for any reason.

I am honestly more invested and encapsulated by these videos than the actual star wars content at this point. This is AMAZING. Keep up the fantastic work!
I have had this thought often.
Yes.. the lore in this universe goes deep. Deeper than modern starwars lore.
I am captivated and riveted by Larry's journey.
Never forget that, somehow, these guys are even more talented in the musical field than they are at comedy/parody.

and that metal one in the end of part 3 is a freaking banger too.

How could i ever raise a blaster toward another stormtrooper again after such beautiful chorus...
Larrys face throughout the song is amazing. Bet he would have been more into it if his midichlorians count was higher.
No doubt, he'd probably dance like never before - possibly destroying the truck and a large portion of the planet they're on...
My midichlorian count is at like nine right now. That's stupid low.
This, is called myth-making, And I love it.
Stormtroopers sing the word “singularity”
One stormtrooper a second later: “Sing it Larry!”
Idk if that was intended but that was pretty cool

Alex''s accent is just perfect for this. Just like David Wenham in 300 (and "Deadliest Warrior"), that is EXACTLY the sort of voice I would expect to be telling me stories about mythical beasts and legends!
I had been manually looping through this part of Ep 3. This is so much easier. Thanks!

I love how Creepio finds his way into even folklore across the galaxy and isn't even directly known by those singing songs about him. Such a well written universe. This is genuinely more amazing than anything I dared to expected from Larry. You took what could have been just a little continuity gag and turned it something genuinely compelling I could listen to over and over again.
Obi's face the whole time just cracks me up hahaha
Its Creepio's song. That is awesome.
I only realized when I heard about the SINGULARITY.
To this day no one forgets the events of the Singularity Engine, I’m actually kinda curious about what happened to the rest of the survivors by the time Duke is doing his gigs.
I heard one built another MOTHERFUCKING LASER MOON over Tree World for some reason. It exploded but what the hell?!
All I can say is I fully expect the ending of Auralnauts TROS on Exegol to involve Creepio a lot. He’s basically the overarching villain of the Auralnauts universe. And Palpatine’s robot chair well, who knows where he got it, but…

Thank you. Not just for the tune of the dunes, but for making this p.o.s series actually watchable.

Love it! Just an unexpected type of song for the series, but most appreciated and it makes sense as others have stated. The Legend of the Clockwork Man and the Singularity Engine keeps you on your toes. When I first watched Larry Ep. 3 I was about half into the song when I realized "Holy shit, they're talking about Creepio from the Auralnauts' SW Ep. 2." The commitment to the story and continuity is to be commended.
You guys made a great song for this bit - the singing actually sounds amazing. It rivals the dwarves ballads from the hobbit movies 🙏💯🙌

They might not be able to shoot straight, but man are they killing it at singing shanties!! Awesome, goosebump evoking song btw!! Hats off to everyone involved.
None of my family has context for this song. So of course, I have sang it to my 8 month old everyday of his life as a lullaby. I hum it while toiling in the yard. I whistle it while doing dishes. Ive even learned to play a fingerstyle version on the guitar all while making random cryptic references to "the bargain gone astray". The Singularity Engine approves.

I have to confess; it wasn't until I heard this again that I realised that it was about Creepio and tells his whole life story.
As a GM and lover of story, this is beautiful. The fact that you have managed to weave the narrative of what is essentially a joke into a lovely and chilling song that portrays not only Creepio, but also the perspective of the victims of the Singularity Engine, it inspires me.
