Nice. Developers should de more stuff like this to give users a good idea of what their goods can do. Reminds me of thise great demos that came built into the Roland workstations.
Thanks! you are welcome to check out my Soundcloud. I have a lot of iPolysix tracks I made with an iPad which are a bit in the same genre. Here is a more uptempo track I also had great fun making. soundcloud.com/zymondee/smashed-into-a-wall?
I wanted to keep it as simple as possible but I have some volume automation and in the break with the drums the filter on the long bass note is opening up with automation.
I can't believe that you use 27 instances of the Mercury VST in one song . On my computer (Mac Laptop i5) I have often a CPU overload with one instance, because the VSt is so heavy on the CPU. Which CPU do you have and what did you do to manage such amount of instances?
I seriously need to BAN myself from UA-cam..everytime I watch a cracking good demo I have to buy the VST .....Roland Cloud Promars Cloud! $150......Cherry Audio Mercury 4.....$40.....seems like a no brainer!!!!!
In Rosetta on M1 with Logic Pro I would say it is faster than an old fast Intel machine in general but of course not always. But I haven’t felt the need yet to use the “native” mode with logic since I can load a lot more things on lots of more tracks than before. The latency is overall always better. One good example is the count of Omnisphere instances before the machine starts to hiccup. In Rosetta on M1 I can have several more than with an Intel. So just go for an M1. You will not regret it, I am pretty sure. ✨

I’d love to hear more of your music!

Really nice. Like in the 80:s 🙂👍
One of the best synths out there. Liquid sound as I recollect from hour and hours of playing it in the music shop.
Great demo!❤️
Many thanks JL!
What a fabulous demo! Well done. You can really appreciate the sound just from the demo! Great stuff! :)
That track was so much fun! And Mercury-4 rocks!!
Happy to hear that!
@@SimonDanielsson Where can I go to hear more from you?

Happy to hear you like it! ✨Thank you! You are very much welcome! It might also be some more flashes from the past posted here soon! 🙂
That funky brass makes me so happy I bought this VST the very hour Cherry Audio released it.
Smooth track, my guy 👍🏾
Thanks! Yes, I also bought it minutes after the release! :)
You go, Simon Danielsson!
0:34 - 0:40 adorable nod to Pointer Sisters "Automatic" - top marks
Hehe.. yes! When that chord was under my fingers I smiled and let it be part of the track!
@@SimonDanielsson yeah um I meant the blippety bloppety bells / high notes - compare with Automatic to hear what you did :-)))
classic 80s. well done.
Nice demo Simon!
Nice retro funkiness to highlight the some of the capabilities of this virtual synth.
Wow this was impressive! Great job, and that price, dont go looking for the real deal on Ebay...
Wow, dude! Seriously good stuff!
Love this track !! ❤
Great Simon!!!
+2000 views! Grattis!!!
Very nice. Well done!
Tack! :)
Punchy! Like your track, well done
Very nice!
Like a bonus stage of sonic the hedgehog. Synrh is awesome. Bought it as soon as it sees the light of day...
Sick!
Cool track man.
Really dope!
Can i use this warm hypersaw sounds for leads and chords?
First swish a bit like ultravox, which song was that? Time stood still? Or maybe a song from omd? Electricity? Mixed up head 😂
Sjysst!!😀🤘
This track has a very Sonic the Hedgehog or casual Streets of Rage area vibe to it. Lol great stuff.
Thanks! I had great fun making it! And... of course I am a sucker for those classic sounds and prods :)
Great demo. How many instances of the Mercury-4 are in this session?
Thanks!! :) Running smooth with 27 instances and approx 13 simultaneously - no freeze track needed.
Vibez! What’s your approach to dialing in automation?
I wanted to keep it as simple as possible but I have some volume automation and in the break with the drums the filter on the long bass note is opening up with automation.
@@SimonDanielsson awesome, short and sweet. Well produced man

Oh! I forgot to write that this is a MacMini M1 16GB. I didn't know it was such a big difference.

LOL! I agree!! But the Mercury is so worth every penny and more - a really great and fun synth!!
Do you notice any lag running with Rosetta on an M1 or is it so fast, it deals with it easily? Really want a new M1 iMac.
