Yes, this version takes a lot from the older production version (which goes "Who is that perfect bride? It's not me, though I've tried"). When Lea Salonga performs live, she takes from the final version and sings, "Somehow I cannot hide who I am, though I've tried". So this version mixes both versions. Also, it's "from their expectations" in the older production version, not "and meet their expectations" as Lea likes to sing when she performs live, which is what's in this version. In other words, there are like three versions that I have heard and this one seems to be stitched together from all three: the final version, the older production version, and the version Lea likes to sing live. Oh, it's also extended to match Michelle Kwan's skating.
Disney originally planned this longer version, but cut the song in half in the final movie. Lea Salonga often sings the long version during her live shows.

I'm happy they actually got an Asian skater (and Michelle Kwan at that!) to skate Reflection, as it's the only Disney Classic with an Asian storyline and it'd only seem degrading if they got a blond haired person to do it in a Chinese-inspired costume...
Lea's voice is so soothing, unlike Christina's version. Oh wait, what's the lyrics on this part: "Now I see, If I ____________, I can fool them all"
Now I see if I learned each rule
its "Now I see, If I wear a mas, I can fool the world....."
too bad there's not a love button.

well best choice though..to the fact that she is asian as well as lea salonga!! go asian!
Yes .. but in my opinion Michelle is a legend of figure skating .. however i think that Juna and Mao are very technical skaters but in my opinion they haven't the grace , the speed and the charm of Carolina Kostner .
Is it just me or does really caroline zhang skates like michelle kwan??
1998
Does somebody know where can I find the complete lyrics of this song?
