in the whole interview on EI the woman says: etc. (I am not an expert but I guess there are different types of grenades with different purposes.)
She said, they tossed "something" she think Was a grenade, but after nothing happened the men came into the room. It could have been an attrap to see if someone has a firearm inside? Because I personaly doubt, soldiers or militants come into a room where an activated grenade is.

Highly intriguing report. Yes,.. Yes,.. the Broader Context is very important to this Israeli Palestinian resistance captive's interview. I did some researching on kibbutz culture way back around the time of the attack. I was surprised to learn that these are not innocent villages. They often have one or more guardians who go through special defense training iirc... not-to-mention that many villagers themselves have served at one time or another. To make matters more "poignant", as you point out... this 60 yr old Israeli woman, gunned down by the Israeli apache attack helicopter, had herself been to an exhibition concerning that fact that these kibbutz villages/homes were once Palestinian and written a letter about her deep regret,.. ... how horrifyingly ironic that one day she would die by the hand she thought was that of her protector, the same hand(s) which at some point took a home away from a Palestinian and gave it to her family. The WHOLE situation, when viewed in the Larger context is sickening. Good job to all of you for stitching together a complex yet vital comprehensive history of this particular event.
