Since my teaching philosophy is one of guided reading, out loud to the class, that means I physically read most of these between 24 and 65 times. I know it's an important work, but truth be told, I never much cared for Piers Plowman. Lol. Needs more swords and monsters or more comedy. As a high school English teacher I never felt is was something that I would be able to engage my students with in a meaningful way.
