Hey Jeff it’s caleb from this retreat, I just wanted to say how much of an absolute blast I had training with you and look forward to seeing you again at surge mma
The timing on this is incredible, I've been saving up for a while now and contemplating going to Thailand for an extended period to learn muay thai properly, not so much for actual fights but definitely drills and sparring, and then boom you drop a video about it. If anyone has any insider information about this topic, best places to go, people to know, tricks of the trade etc then please message me
I remember being at Fairtex gym w finish training i kept asking them for clinch tips...they would just try to make me tired again and i kept asking for more. Then i started paying attention to an old guy & he was showing me all these different elbows...i guess he was the Mohammad Ali if Thailand very famous champion long ago 😊
My friend Gabriel Souza is currently training in Thailand at Fairtex gym. He will fight MMA saturday at One Championship in Thailand. Probably you will see him.
A handful of guys from my gym in Sydney, including our headcoach, are currently in thailand on a training retreat. Wish i would have gone with them. Ill try for next year, definitively. P.s. congrats to those three blokes on their first fights in full thai rules. What a privilege it must have it been done in the birthplace of Muay Thai.
I do a lot of training at my homegym with some friends, conditioning, technique practicing and sparring. One day I will most definitely save up and go on one of your trips to see the world and train.
This is freaking incredible. I'm just starting training in muay thai this week. If you are doing this next year Jeff, I'm going to try to convince my fiance to do this for our honeymoon. Lol. The price is way more reasonable than I imagined considering all that is included on this trip.
I hope so too man! It's a goal of mine to have a "light"sparring session with you someday. Haha. Legitimately light though, I just think it's funny that people think you are the hard sparring guy.
Hey man! I got that magazine in the mail finally and the write up on you is great. Really inspiring story of how you made it to where you are. Also, I realized I'm only a few months younger than you, but way below your level so I have a long way to go. Haha. Everyone's journey is different though, but thank you for sharing yours. It's been super cool, and your outlook and remaining humble is I think what the next generation of fighters needs in a coach.
Hey Jeff if you don’t mind could you let me know what heavy bag you use personally please I’m looking to get one rn and I’m having trouble committing to one
every gym has pros and beginners, so you can't really go wrong. My camps are also for all levels, so email me at jeff@mmashredded.com if you are interested in coming to a future camp!
Jeff,i am a new mma trainer, may i ask a question please ?how do i go other countries for training?i mean is that i have to connect to a gym which is at other countries and went to there start my training or?
The kid said it. Should have drank a lot more water. 😅 When I went I was tanked by day three. Completely dehydrated. That jungle heat was something else.
When I go to the Thai food Diner in my Thai boxing gear they always give me a bigger amount. Thaiboxing von many of those people is not like we would call it Religion but it has something to do with it. That mean nurturing you can be seen as kind of a sacred act.
LOL I hope Jeff had a wife or, good partner that he wasn't talking about because of the milieu! It's about the martial stuff, the arts, and the love! He's leading the group, and there's the real, real stuff that drives us-- and, I believe he deserves to do well... Jeff please, show 'em how to keep it like fathers- be real
Very good🙋 I believe now that fighting in the old ages was a science and like a prayer or meditation ,so the new age or new democraty try to change the way how teenagers think, by bring them to the football fields, so they become so lazy and full of fears .
i like the initiative but to go all the way to thailand just to get trained by foreigners completely beats the purpose in my opinion. you come to thailand to learn muay thai from the thai people
Y'all could pull the techniques off against the folks who's parents could pay for it... except for when you couldn't! Honestly, y'all know who made the most of your privilege!
For anyone thinking of going to the next one. Go it’s so much fun you get your moneys worth and it’s great you meet likeminded people and friends for life it was so worth it

Jeff, genuine question, for a camp that's in Thailand... everyone there looks... American?
This is from his Muay Thai retreat, which takes a bunch of foreigners to Thailand to train for a few months in the summer.
there are a mixed bunch, some from everywhere around the world!
Badass!
