    Ted Cassidy also did the opening narration for the Bill Bixby Hulk and the voice of the Gorn on the Star Trek episode "Arena", so that Godzilla cartoon was his second reptilian role. His one role that stuck with me the most was him playing Goliath on NBC's 'Greatest Heroes of The Bible' mini-series.

    When you look at a couple of the characters on this show, how time and makeup can change them. Uncle Fester, played by Jackie Coogan, hard to believe he was the cute little kid in the early years of motion pictures. And Grandmama, who went by a few names, birth name Edith MacDonald, the older sister of screen star Jeanette MacDonald, was a thin, comedic looking woman.

    04:05 it kinda looks like the way they shot the train explosion they planned on reusing the shot.
    the camera is slightly right of Gomez (screen right.) angled slightly left towards Mr Hilliard. the
    smoke and explosion is heaviest directly in front of Mr Hilliard blocking his view, but not Gomez.
    allowing the explosion to be reused. imo.

    I think I must have missed every appearance of Bigfoot. Bad luck and bad timing, I guess. So I never realized.... he was bionic? What's the story with that? Was he some failed experiment?
    I always thought it would have been cool if the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman had teamed with the Bionic Boy (Vincent Van Patten with bionic legs) and Maximillion the Bionic Dog against Barney Miller, the criminal bionic man who preceded Steve Austin. If Bigfoot was bionic, he could have teamed with Miller. In fact, when the Bionic Six cartoon premiered in the 80s, I had hoped that it would have something to do with that; I was so disappointed they were completely unrelated characters. I wonder why they never made a Saturday morning cartoon with Steve and Jaimie?
    Is the Mandela Effect working on me, or did Bigfoot in the Bigfoot and Wildboy segments of the Krofft Supershow also feature bionic-like slow motion sound effects when he did his feats?

    • @tvcrazyman
      @tvcrazyman 10 місяців тому +1

      Bigfoot was a bionic robot created by aliens that pretty much looked and acted like humans except they lived in the mountains secretly.. Bigfoot from Bigfoot and Wildboy always reminded me of the Bigfoot on the Six Million Dollar Man. There was cool sound effects and he ran in slow motion just like the Bionic shows.

    Whereas, film mistakes are those which were perhaps not noticed during editing & went into the actual film.

    On a 21 inch (or 19 inch) TV with at best 485 raster lines of resolution (near the broad cast towers) you'd wouldn't have seen or noticed this. And we were 56 miles from most of the transmitters, so images off the air video tape sharpness on a VHS at EP (slowest speed). Totally different from DVD quality on a 4K TV larger screen). You would see bloopers on cable TV but who the heck had this in 1964?
