It was also winter coat weather in that BW scene and that would coincide with the weather during this episode as well.

In regards to Marvel’s CGI heavy 3rd acts. Normally I would agree with Marketa but when it comes to Shang-chi there is one reason I was totally ok with that movies 3rd act. That reason is DRAGON!!! I love dragons and I’m so happy we’re finally getting realistic dragons in pop culture. Growing up in the 80s we got dragons like Falkor from the Neverending Story. I loved Falkor but he was kinda creepy.
I cannot relate. *Glances at my $60 pewter dragon... then at my dragon whelpling in a human skull... then at my dragon rug... then at the dragon art book my friends got me for the holidays...*
As a kid who watched a lot of chinese tv series, dragon is normal. It would be nice if khamar taj has weapons from journey to the west shang chi could use other than the rings.
I got the feeling that Yelena was holding back in all honesty and that head shake when Kate was pointing an arrow at her was something more than "please don't shoot me" it felt more like " don't do this" and Kate has great instincts and intuition so she might be able to work out what Yelena is really up to.
The fact that she’s supportive and understanding of what he does, patient and speaks in code, can get intel, hints at the fact that Laura must’ve been an agent at some point. Whether SHIELD or some other organization. Because at what point would she have met Clint, a trained spy, not to mention that she had a good relationship with Nat and trusted her to be the only one who knows about their family and the farm when no one else does. She knows about the watch so it could be hers. She could have been an agent who worked under/beside Nat and Clint and that’s how they all met. And her code name could’ve been Mockingbird, who in the comics was his partner.
I feel like there's some meaning behind Eleanor's line of "I trust everyone at this table to do what's right" instead of just "I trust the two of you to do what's right" so she was including herself and Jack in that statement.
When they said about Maya "trying to kill kate" and being shocked was funny. Did they forget she's the boss of the tracksuit mafia, a criminal organization? Also Kate broke into her apartment.
@@ghostlee6434 mockingbird and Clint split, her name was bobbi Morse in the comics. Laura is the shield agent he married and had with in the movies and comics
The watch is Laura’s, guys. She’s a former SHIELD operative, which is where she and Clint met, before they fell in love and she retired. This is absolutely my headcanon, but I’m like 90% sure it’s what the show is doing, too. Re-watch all the scenes with her and keep this in mind, I think you’ll see what I mean. I just hope they make her a former iteration of Mockingbird. Make it like a legacy title that can be handed down, like Black Widow or Hawkeye are titles that can change hands.

I think Clint'wife is mockingbird (She is most notably known for being a member of the Avengers team and being married to Clint Barton; has no superpowers but has had extensive training in SHIELD, which she was one of the best students, and obtained a doctorate in biology. She thus masters several forms of unarmed or armed combat. However, she has a predilection for eskrima sticks which can be combined into a telescopic bo.)
The Officer who retrieved the arrows said her name is BOMBSHELL... BOMBSHELL is another character in the comics and is an explosives expert. She has a daughter who became a superhero and shoots explosive energy blasts out of her hands, while also naming herself after her mother BOMBSHELL as well
Soon as I seen the red black widow bracelet I lost my shit because I knew who it was immediately. Also Kate was awesome this episode. Her acting is my type of acting
It's not Tony Stark's watch. Clint and Laura said that it belongs to someone who has been "out of the game for a while" and could be forced to come back. It might even be Laura herself, but it looks like a man's watch.
I don't think it's Tony's watch because they're concerned about it being connected to the person who owned it and they wouldn't be concerned about a dead man's identity who was already known as his superhero counterpart.
The watch (which a ladies’ Rolex) is Laura’s watch from her days as an undercover SHIELD agent and that’s how she met Clint - they worked for SHIELD together. She eventually quit SHIELD to raise a family with Clint. However, the watch is still linked to her identity and that’s why both Clint and Laura want to retrieve it.
29:15 @The Normies, Jacques "Jack" Duquesne is the Swordsman, which we got a tease of last week when he fought with Kate. In the MCU, however, I think we're going to learn that he was Ronin before Clint--is it a coincidence that he went downstairs to participate in an auction selling Ronin's suit and sword? I don't think so. His dear in headlights look when he saw Kate in the suit, I think was more about him than it was about Kate, as he very likely hadn't seen the suit since he last wore it. Jack's flaws, mangled aphorisms and awkwardness is a cover for a life he used to live. He knows who Hawkeye is, but calling him Archer instead fits his cover. Why would someone who wanted Ronin's sword so badly as Jack, leave it out in the open, in Clint's view? He wanted that sword bad enough to steal it, so why leave it out in the open? He left it out for Clint to take it. I used to think the Rolex was Tony's too, and that it had Star Tech, but Laura made it clear that the watch isn't Tony's. It's either hers from when she was a Shield agent or its another former agent's that needs to have his/her cover protected. My money's on Jack, as his skills are going to come back into play. And when they do, I think Maya is going to realize that it was him, not Clint, that killed her father and the original Tracksuits back then.
I don't think Jack is the "big bad", but in the comics, Jack Duquesne is the Swordsman, a reformed super-villain who trained Hawkeye. Obviously Jack isn't Clint's mentor in the MCU, but he's based on an actual super-villain.

Fun fact: that was Kate not taking the shot when aiming at Yelena. Just like Clint didn't take the shot on Natasha. Pretty awesome. Prediction: the Rolex is actually Clint's wife's. She is a former SHIELD agent (where they met) hence the scenes with her getting him info, speaking in German and knowing about things like the watch and how it was thought destroyed in the Avengers compound. Given how hard Clint is going at finding it, Occam's Razor says it threatens his family if its found and decrypted. So now there's a list of his family, meaning they will likely be in danger. Perfect opportunity for us to get another scene with the wife and kids in their house but with baddies storming it to capture/kill them (classic Christmas action movie style). Except as a trained SHIELD agent she will kick their asses and outsmart them. This will be the big reveal as to her being more than a stay-at-home mom. I don't think Yelena actually believed that Clint killed Nat, and that the fight on the rooftop was just Yelena letting out her frustration and anger towards Clint because he couldn't protect her sister. This is because during that fight, Yelena had multiple opportunities to kill Clint if she wanted to, that black widow tazer could've been set to lethal (as we've seen in the black widow movie) but during this fight, it didn't even seem like it hurt all that much. In captain america winter soldier, one non lethal charge of that tazer could knock Nat unconscious.

@@albericponcedeleon2696 True I’ve heard similar things about how he viewed that show.
Mockingbird could be a legacy codename, passed down from retired agents to active agents. Like 007.
@@albericponcedeleon2696 here from the future, now confirmed all those shows are cannon to the mcu
I think Eleanor knows Val and she's the one that called in the hit on Clint ...
((So Clint will not interfere in her mob dealings))
so...
-Eleanor calls Val once Clint leaves,
(Eleanor ordering that hit on Clint)
-Then Val gives orders to Yelana
(at the end of Black Widow in the graveyard)
-Yelana shows up on that rooftop off Clint.
So in other words...
I think the after credit scene in the cemetery in Black Widow takes place during episode 4.
It was also winter coat weather in that BW scene and that would coincide with the weather during this episode as well.
I don't see that all happening over the course of just a few hours. Do we even know where that cemetery is? Seems to be out in the middle of nowhere, rather than in the middle of the most densely populated city in America.
@@dtgstl3148 Valentina said “Sorry I’m allergic to the Midwest” when she appeared next to Yelena so I think it’s safe to assume that Natasha’s grave is in Ohio since that’s where she spent the best years of her childhood.
@@kait7168 This. I have no idea how much time passes between Yelena's interaction with Val at the cemetery and her rooftop fight with Clint, but I'm fairly certain the two things didn't happen on the same day.
Also Kate broke into her apartment.
eventually yelena will find out she is being played and i can't wait to see that expression...
I'm wondering if Hawkeyes wife is a former Shield Agent.
Had the same thought
They brought this up in the movies before
@@ghostlee6434 I’m seriously if they’re going to make Laura Mockingbird when we had the actual Mockingbird Bobbi Morse in Agents of SHIELD.
I agree, and the reveal happens when some track suit flunkies get sent to the farm and Laura gets to kick some ass.
I like the theory but that doesn't appear to be a women's watch.
@@SGC51 doesn’t have to be one she’s ever worn. If it’s a “vintage” Rolex, as they claimed in the show, it could be an heirloom her father left her in his will or something. The kind of thing she’d never wear but would always know where it was - the perfect place to hide sensitive data, no?
I think Clint'wife is mockingbird (She is most notably known for being a member of the Avengers team and being married to Clint Barton; has no superpowers but has had extensive training in SHIELD, which she was one of the best students, and obtained a doctorate in biology.
She thus masters several forms of unarmed or armed combat. However, she has a predilection for eskrima sticks which can be combined into a telescopic bo.)
Yelena's outfit from the Thunderbolt comics. But yes it's also from the Splinter Cell lol =D
I wanted someone else to call out Yelena for being a poser, thank you for that Normies
Rana's hair looks amazing today!
The Officer who retrieved the arrows said her name is BOMBSHELL... BOMBSHELL is another character in the comics and is an explosives expert. She has a daughter who became a superhero and shoots explosive energy blasts out of her hands, while also naming herself after her mother BOMBSHELL as well
Even though i disagreed with suraj and was not offended i do appreciate you taking the time out to acknowledge and apologize
If you look properly , yelena hooked Kate before she through her off the building that was so swift and clean
Seeing Florence made my day!
Also, there are Red Widow Spiders.. That would be pretty tight.
When Hawkeye says that Kazi worked for William Lopez, he means Maya Lopez father.
4:58 omg i love how Suraj got so triggered by that
"You've got to rub it vigorously."
Suraj's apology reminded me of that one time in LOST.
4:39 Wanda:am I a joke to you .
I don't think it's Tony's watch because they're concerned about it being connected to the person who owned it and they wouldn't be concerned about a dead man's identity who was already known as his superhero counterpart.
I can't be the only one, but I'm gonna give a shoutout to Rana's hair bc wow it's on point 😄
that orange beanie is such a mood LOL
The watch (which a ladies’ Rolex) is Laura’s watch from her days as an undercover SHIELD agent and that’s how she met Clint - they worked for SHIELD together. She eventually quit SHIELD to raise a family with Clint. However, the watch is still linked to her identity and that’s why both Clint and Laura want to retrieve it.
Captain America Civil War had the best 3rd act. They brought it down to personal stakes and it was very unexpected.
Excellent episode. Only complaint is I wish they'd let Clint do some better fight scenes. He didn't really get to do that much in that 4 way fight
That’s literally all this show is missing MORE ACTION!
Fr. I’m hoping it’s a actor performance thing and not that they are neutering our boy. This is his first chance to truly shine and it should be epic.
That 1973 car was Stan Lee's from Endgame
29:15 @The Normies,
Jacques "Jack" Duquesne is the Swordsman, which we got a tease of last week when he fought with Kate.
Suraj no need to apologize. If you don’t like a character that’s fine. I hope this doesn’t sway you to not have an honest reaction just because you fear backlash from some Kate stans. I was all about Loki and Sylvie’s Relationship and a lot of reactors thought that was weird which is ok. I wouldn’t watch you guys especially Pat during “You,” if I wanted you guys to react exactly like me. The difference in opinion and new theories are refreshing. Keep up the good work!
Jacques Duquesne( pronounced Jack Ducane) is the name of a former villain turned Avenger named The Swordsman.
I think Eleanor put Jack as CEO for the shell company on paper to hide her involvement. I think she’s actually the one working with/for “Uncle”
Yelena and Kate are probably my new mcu favs
min 5:34 " Yeahhhhhh" and then "Sorry Guy". ahahahah TOP reaction
The watch is definitely Laura's, she mentioned it will blow their cover. She probably was a Shield agent or something like that
In the comics Clint thought of using boomerang arrows, and Kate disagree to that idea.
I loved that scene and have been sending copies of that page to people ever since. Because boomerangs.
It's been a while. Loved the intro. Love you all!
That unsheathed sword, blade down on the stand after the intro got under my skin more than I wish.
Hello guys. Daredevil (Netflix) is back confirmed by Feige. Don’t worry If Mr F didn’t show up. I believe he will in ep 5, next week is the premiere of NWH. It’s all connected.
Yes, you would get in trouble as CEO or owner of a company without knowledge that your employees were breaking the law. Happened to UFC champ Kamaru Usman's father.
I swear to got i thought immediately of Sam Fisher too when I saw Yelena come out of nowhere with that suit 😂
Imagine Kate nd Yelena’s banter, looking forward to their dynamic in the future
Guy who got srsly butt hurt about comments a week ago - "no I never check comments, trust me bro"
Gotta admit crushing on Rana hard. Love that she’s the only one taking notes during the shows.🥰
Rana is the only one in the group who gets it and understands and not jumping in the negative bandwagon on her view of Kate Bishop. Rana is like Hector Navarro from Heroes Reforged because he is spot on and did his research and said that Kate Bishop is also called Hawkeye in the comics
It has to Kate's mom who's behind all this, including the murder. Omg is Kate gonna fight her own mother?!
Just imagine how amazing it would be if the watch was given to Clint by Coulson?
That she was a SHIELD agent, that's where she met Clint and that the watch was hers.
Bunch of MCU Stan's are gonna turn into LARPers
How do you not know who’s fighting Clint on the rooftop after the black widow landing!?
Even with the watch,Clint said it could out someone’s identity, who hasn’t been in the life for a long time, yet somehow these guys seem to have missed that.
I know Americans are deemed to have very short memories, but wtf peeps!
Or they arent sad and pathetic and watch shows for the shows rather than making their whole lives and personalities revolve around them and investigating every little facet of the show.
Imagine getting mad because people arent pathetic and dont pick up on every little thing
Remember they said it in ep 2 Hawkeye takes place 2 years later after endgame
No they didn’t, it takes place the year after Endgame
The idea that it’s set two years after is from misunderstanding a producer who was talking about seeing Clint two years after Endgame was released
Suraj - "Hawkeye is a badass, he's the ONLY character that's been through real, real shit"
Thor: Dead mother, father, brother, best friends and had PTSD over losing to Thanos
Wanda: Dead parents, dead twin brother, lover and lost her "kids"
Bucky: Mind controlled for almost a century as a killing machine, still has all of the memories and had none of the control
Steve and Tony: Lost both parents, Tony had PTSD from the 1st Avengers movie, Steve had to see Peggy at the end of her life
Quill: Dead mother, taken from his home as a kid, dead adoptive father, had to kill his biological father and dead lover
Parker: Dead parents, dead adoptive father(Uncle Ben), dead role model(Tony)
All: Are we a joke to you?
Bombshell and Grills sound like two great superhero names
As a fan of the Hawkeye comics, I geeked the hell out at the boomerang arrow reference. We better get that boomerang arrow
Oldest TV in New York but has competition in New Jersey
What are the chances of losing your whole family in the snap you ask? If we assume it's 50/50 chance for each single member, I'm pretty sure it's 6.25% that you lose 4 family members. So it's not THAT low of a chance.
Hard theory is that Jack is a Skrull, only piece of evidence being that he keeps getting movie saying wrong
In captain america winter soldier, one non lethal charge of that tazer could knock Nat unconscious.
calling it now: Jack and Hawkeye know each other. He’s the dude under cover that Clint is talking about.
Appreciate the commentary; apology, explanation!!!
Calling it that Eleanor is working with the Contessa, that is why Yelena was called right now.
I think Jack is innocent. If he really controlled the track suits, why would he have gone to the auction knowing it was going to be robbed?
Purple is the best color 💜
