Bryan, I think larger drivers (and passengers) will appreciate the extra headroom the Land Cruiser offers compared to the surprisingly cramped 4Runner. 😉 Sadly, neither the Land Cruiser or 4Runner offer the traditional 40/20/40 second row which is so handy for skis and other long cargo. 🤨
Thanks for showing the heads up display. I’ve watched a bunch of reviews and nobody else has taken the time to show it or explain what it’s capable of. I also have a BMW HUD currently and was hoping the Toyota version was somewhat equally capable. Thanks!
Are you kidding? Isn't this a hybrid? The 2008 RAV4 I borrowed once got horrible mileage, think it was worse than my 1984 GMC Jimmy. It also almost killed me by repeatedly going out of 4x4 if I went above 20mph up mountain in the snow., and fought me whenever it lost traction.
@@heavymetalhomesteadingit’s 22 mpg… not much gain compared to the old V8 but at least you’re saving the environment (allegedly), because that’s what matters 😂
Here we go, dealership starting to mark up the LC. This one 80k and the stupid few ppl who are buying and causing the justification for mark up’s. If the old LC didn’t sell well with a V8 what makes you think this half engine that is close to the old LC price will? Greed, pure greed.
As awesome as this SUV is going to be, it's absurd that the LC, GX550, and top line 4Runners are all going to be around the same pricing. I don't understand what Toyota and Lexus were thinking in making their pricing so equal across these. You get more luxury, features, looks, power, carry capacity, and tow ability in the GX550 overtrail for the same price. Makes no sense.
Now you have three options to choose from based on looks, performance and price. All three options have their merits. Is too many good Toyota body on frame 4x4s a bad thing?
You can take your first model year of that Land Cruiser and flush it… I bought a new capstone tundra coming to find out since 2022 they are having major catastrophic engine failures because of the new design involving the main bearing caps… sickening and sad… Those aren’t the only problems… Transmission problems, and differential problems and replacements are becoming more common… Toyota quality doesn’t exist like it used to and they’re way overpriced and I hope they suffer the consequences for their lack of quality control… The only saving grace for the Land Cruiser may be that it was hundred percent manufactured in Japan… Trust me there’s a lot of people out there leaving the Toyota brand for good reason and Toyota will suffer for that reason…the Tacoma is another new failure which shows by its sales…see ya Toyota
this makes me really appreciate the quality & 3rd row on my 5th GEN 4 runner
The new king of the Whole Foods parking lot.
🤣

80k? Next car
It looks awesome! I am on the list for the mid-trim model at my local dealership, they have not received any of their allocations yet.

how long will that 2.4 turbo last if you keep travelling State to State?
msrp ?
lol a 265/70 18 isn’t even a 33” tire.
Good catch! I'm rusty with my off road tire sizes for sure.
32.6” tire (not under load)
So a 4 cylinder but requires premium gas and what grade does it require? With the cost of gas these days where are the savings with this vehicle?
This isnt a Prius. Lots of high performance engines use premium fuel.
Why does it look like a bigger FJ Cruiser that's refreshed
Anyone hear mpg mentioned? The most important detail?
I think the off road features take a front seat here. If you are looking for high MPGs, look into the RAV4s.

$80k !? Rather have GX 550. Toyota is outta their minds.
First Edition is a limited edition trim

Mud flaps so cheap they need a brace

FE is a ripoff. Just get a LC Premium. It’s the same thing with headlights that actually look like they belong on that vehicle.

76 failures or of 130000 over a span of over a year is not a massive failure rate; 0.005%
Nobody buying these for $80k
Plenty of people are actually. Maybe you aren't, but would you have bought the last LC for $90-100k anyway?
@@AskforBryan come on dawg.. come on mayne… people making over $120k are buying these thangs
