The logo looks like it belongs to a high-end grammar school for superheroes and I love it! I do love the idea of the ace labels but I'm not sure about the colour match labels. I'm brand new to grading but I will be sending some cards into ace grading.
Looks interesting. Think it will be a good service in the UK for protecting rather than adding value But the fact 2 of the 4 slabs used in his promos have clear errors, the slabs are “prototypes” so we can’t see what they’re actually like and the lack of transparency around GG (Connor and Tom) not being affiliated despite being named as directors just doesn’t think its the best start imo Also, don’t start a business by slagging off your competitors. Not very prestige of you 😂
Massive misconception around the graded gem point. Connor and Tom are Connor and Tom, they are not GradedGem the company, which to my knowledge is closing down m. They can be affiliated with ace while GradedGem is not. The other points are otherwise very solid
@@ciarangrimes7912 oh i know the company are not and will be shutting down once all of the pending cards have returned but what i mean is randolph commonly refers to connor and tom as Graded Gem boys and we’ve seen them as directors on companies house so even when asked the question if graded gem, meaning just connor and tom, are a part, its just a basic not that transparent answer of “not affiliated” Also, thank you for making points and responding vs HATER REEEE Want it to do well but just because i’ve watched his content, doesn’t mean rand is immune from criticism or worry
@@b0nkityb0nk53 oh yeah course, the best businesses are built on responding to criticism. I think when it comes to affiliating people to a company you have to be a bit more careful with names, since linking graded gem to ace would be untrue, although Connor and Tom are most likely known to the channel as graded gem, hence the misconception. Aside from that you had a very fair argument, not gonna screech about it like some of the other children in these threads
The ace label cards aren't being phased out, I've understood it to only grow the number of ace labels available so they aren't really going to be limited edition
Are there any existing grading companies with slabs that protect from uv!? If not that's a genius idea 🤯 also would love to see a video of you getting a few cards graded by Ace 🤜💥🤛
Nice video man. Like the idea of what theyre doing, however the slabs and more specifically the label is awful. The Ace grading logo is sick, they should set it out more like Beckett or Get graded. Big logo on left, clean fonts on the right
Thanks man, I hear what you’re saying, I think that they are trying to be more modern and go in a different direction to the big guys which is always going to feel weird for people who are use to the Beckett’s etc
@@PokeDean This is a bit awkward ... think iv just convinced myself it actually looks pretty decent now (theyve updated the font colour for the 10. Looks better)
Umbreon EX and fates collide came out in 2016 yet the label sais 2019 not to mention how cheap and tacky the cases look, its a real shame i hope randolph isnt just trying to take advantage of his subscribers

Thanks Dean for your opinion, really interesting! As an European, it's pretty cool to have another grading company, let's hope it's not only hype :)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌🏽

I think I’ve heard there is one out there that is going to do so! I would happy to send some off to see what they feel like etc!
Good take on it. Ill wait for you to grade a few before ill consider them :)
Haha good idea Slicker!
I love your support ❤️

ACE TO THE MOON 🚀
What’s your thoughts bro? 💭
@@PokeDean will be sending there, think they’ll do well
I look forward to seeing them in person
He didnt mention about taking away ace labels after a certain amount of time just adding more labels over time to my knowledge
Yeah until we get clarification it could be either
@@PokeDean of course man great video as always!
🤯
Nice Video! 👍
Thanks!
The company already got the date of a label wrong in the reveal... pretty worrying.
It was a prototype but yeah could be avoided
How about on line sub grades?
Maybe!
Adding uv protection might mean the case won’t be clear in colour. People can always stick their own uv protection film like screen protector
Ah didn’t know this!
