This is a piece I made in 2017 with the title Rippling Creek, but this is the title it should have had all along. Also made some changes to it.

Previous version: • Rippling Creek - Bert ...
Ein schöner ruhiger Klang. Sehr angenehm. Vielen Dank.🙂🌲🥀
Danke sehr, Carsten. Schön das du es magst. Das Stück ist schon wieder sieben Jahre alt, aber war ein zweiter Versuch wert.
It's a piece with a classical feel, like beautiful Baroque music.😀
It's a wonderful waltz.👋👋👋
Thank you so much for listening and that nice comment. Thanks for listening and hope you'll enjoy the score.
Magnífico tema. Recrea perfectamente el aire del barroco. Enhorabuena.
Gracias. Muy apreciado!
Wow!!! Really beautiful!! The double meaning of the german title is so well chosen for this music. Congratulations to this! 👏🎶🙂
Thank you, Wolfgang. Glad you think it stands up to the title, I was a bit afraid it wouldn't. It is a bit dangerous to have "Bach" in the title. Most people outside Germany and Austria will only think about the composer.
A very interesting piece! One of those works in which the more you observe (listen), the more you discover.
Thanks, that's a very nice thing to say. Glad you like the piece.
A truly wonderful piece Bert! Bravo 👌👏👏👏
Glad you like it! Thanks for the comment.
wonderful and brillant.
Thank you, Ernst. Making this piece showed me it's fun to use counterpoint.
sehr sehr schön! 🌟
Danke fürs zuhören und dein Kommentar, Mike.
Otro " concierto " más para tu extensa colección, me ha gustado mucho Bert, enhorabuena una vez más, like 10
Gracias, Jose Luis. Muy apreciado.
Great!
Thank you!
Beautiful, thaks again, I´ll go for it.......
You're welcome. Do try it, I think the changes I made make it quite playable.
@@bertalink You´re right, this new version is a bit more "comfortable" to play. I´ve tried both.
Beautiful composition, thank you. I´m enjoying your music a lot.
Beautiful music! Thank you for this amazing work!!!
Thank you, Matteo. Thanks for listening.
❤❤❤
Thanks for listening.
muchas gracia por los tab, me facilita el dedaje ya que estudio la guitarra
Gracias por su atención. Me alegra que puedas usar los tab..
Wow! Congratulations on a very beautiful composition👌 I like the title 🙂 It must be great to be able to compose in "Bach style"
Thank you very much, Marianne. I'm confident you can compose like this too. 7 years ago I learned some counterpoint and put this one together. Just changed some little things for this version, among those changes the title. Didn't dare mention Bach previously (even in the meaning of Creek).
Have a great weekend,
Bert
It’s a great tune no matter what you call it! Thanks for sharing it again.
You're welcome. That is true, of course, but I think there would be less interest in the piece if I called it 'P2017-045-V2'.🙂
@@bertalink 😂
You probably made a typo in the title: you probably meant J.S. Bach.😂 I would have believed you that it was by Bach. I really liked it and downloaded the sheet music straight away.👍👍
I also had Google translate what "Plätschernder Bach" means in Dutch: "Babbelende stroom"
Is that correct? In German there is also "babbeln" but that means that someone talks a lot.
Thanks Stefan. Wish I was as good as Bach (half as good would do nicely too). I made this when I just started to discover that I could make music by using counterpoint, back in 2017. I didn't dare mentioning Bach in the title at that time, so I translated it in English as Rippling Creek (and sometimes think of it as Crippling Reek).
For me Google translates it to "Kabbelende stroom", which is what I would expect. "Babbelen" means the same thing as "babbeln" in German.
