What are your thoughts on using beard hair as donor hair for the scalp? Do you do so in your clinical practice? Also, you guys talk a lot about having FUT first and then FUE if needed. What are your thoughts on doing an FUE first and then FUT?
Hey guys, thank you for the awesome content. One thing I am wondering is that I am on 1mg oral finasteride and would like to take Tongkat Ali to improve testosterone. Do you think this will render my finasteride ineffective or bring other unwanted side effects (too much conversion to estrogen?) Thank you so much!
It will just increase your dht a bit more. I'm using topical RU, minoxidil, tretinoin and when I go on ashwaganda, tongkat and fadogia for testosterone I don't notice an increase in hairloss...but ymmv
I have a sort of offtopic question but couldnt find any answers on the internet: can i take 5g creatine per day while on 3mg finasteride per week or will this again lead to hairloss cause the dht increase from creatine is to high?
I will give you a perfect answer. Because people have no idea what they are saying often. 3 mg Finasteride = equal to 3 times aweek or 0.5 mg per day, will most likely reduce 60-65 % DHT. Creatine can sometimes increase DHT with 56 - 70 % of usage with 5 gram per day for longer time or cycles of creatine. Why should you listen? Because I done Creatine for 28 years on and off and been on Finasteide and Dutaseride. I would no go near Creatine. Its not worth it. I rather take Nandrolone or something extreme as Tren and such, as its less androgenetic converting than Creatine. You can also do a blood test and measure levels in the body and if above 90?. I would not bother taking it. Meaning you got storage enough in the muscles of the body. I been over 90 and 102 while not even taking it and I am 43 years old. I am also a fitness coach and nutrition freak here in Denmark. Creatine just binds water into the muscles and makes you 2-3 % stronger. If looks good when at the gym if below 20 % bodyfat and such. But its not the main thing I would consume. I even taken 20 and 30 grams of creative sometimes in the past. Mostly kept it was 2-7 gram per day. I have noticed a direct link between that and loosing hair. It depends on your age and many factors. It might be more safe to consume Creatine if on Dutasteride in this case.
Please do a video on what dosing should look like when taking duetasteride alone and not in combination with finasteride. The label says .5 every day, but would every three days work just as well?
I just got prescribed dutasteride. I was formerly on finasteride, and saw a video by these guys that taking it three times a week was just as effective as every day. @@drunkshooter4156 Ahh great. good luck then with Minox also. I will just answer you anyhow since I tried it all. I also used Minox 10 % from tugain India. 2-5 % mostly. 5 % Kirkland mainly. And I am a man over 6 feet and 230 pounds to put it into perspective I think between 1-2 ml is best at once. I would just go for 2 ml once aday. The thing is that if you stop 4 days or more on minox then wears off slowly out of the system and shedding will occur. I use 1.5-2.5 ml aday once in the evening and wash it in the morning.
