It doesn’t give height. It tells if the tide is high or low and if it’s coming in or going out. The phase of the moon is to the left and when the moon is full the tides are at maximum height or maximum ebb.
I’ve just published a new video on how to set and use the moon and tide functions on this watch. The title is “Casio G -shock watch: moon, and Tide Functions.“ In order to get the correct reading you have to to make sure that your date and time are correct and that you’ve correctly entered the data from the location you will be using the watch.
I think you just leave it at 5 hours 20 min but you're right it could differ for your time zone. I just wanted to know why I can't set latitude. Mine shows LONG then INT but not LAT
Hi. I have just published a new video on the G-Shock watch that describes in detail how to set and use the moon tide functions. This will answer your questions. The title is “Casio G-shock watch: moon and tide functions”.
@@richardhentworth5612 Latitude is the the same as the UTC or the time zone with this watch but it is only measured in hours. This creates some inaccuracy with regard to the tide. You can’t use the tide reading for critical situations. I just published a new video that may help you. “Casio G-Shock watch: moon and tight functions.”
@@1013fly The watch automatically defaults to 6 AM on the current date when you return to the tide function screen. You have to adjust to the current time in the Tide function to get an accurate read. I just published a new video on this subject. “Casio G-Shock watch: moon and tide functions.” That may be helpful.
Much appreciated, got my watch rolling very quickly
Thank-you so much.
I'm in Vancouver Canada so my longitude is the same I'm guessing..yaay ..cheers
I just had to reset my own. In Portland, we are in the -8 time zone and 124 degree longitude. Thanks for watching.😊
What does the tide say? Feet intervals?

How do you select 24 hr mode?
Press the start/stop button once while in the Home Screen. In the am you won’t notice the change, it will be evident in the pm (afternoon).
Can you pls show how to set the tide and moon? I thought it was going to be part of the video.. Thanks
When you set the longitude, and the current date and time, that is what the clock uses to show you tides@@marksanpedro9102
