I've gotta L67 VT Calais with stock boost and it's lots of fun especially in peak hour traffic and you see a gap when you need to change lanes, give it a love tap hard enough the whole car does a till back and people get out of the way

I love the Supermang video series a lot, very interesting to see what Holden (and you guys) over there in Australia made out of the Opel Omega A / Senator B which is its incarnation i am used to here in Germany ☺ .. those RWD Opels still were real cars which i love, not like those new school vehicles they build today 😔
We have been doing this to all Opel models since the 70s, including the Kadett and Omega. The VB Commodore was the original to use an Omega as the base. 👍

Perfect example I know of off my head is the Ford Mark III (aka TC) Cortina. In Australia, it's called a Cortina and has the 250ci 4.1L inline six. In the UK, they fitted the 3.1L V6 and called it the Granada. Then on top of that, you got the two door version of that shell and called it the Taunus. Very confusing if you don't know what you're searching for.
Have you guys thought of chucking on a Front Mount a2a intercooler, should be able to drop back down to a really small pulley then with sufficient cooling to the charged air, for memory it wouldn't fit with the front bar on on that VN as seen in another episode but maybe you can do some cutting and m'gyvering

I know in some racing classes if you run forced induction they make you run a 45mm restrictor in the intake it restricts horsepower but creates torque might be worth a try to see how much if any gains anyway killer video can't wait to see track vids Also I have a stock VP V6 engine with a 6v71 blower on it stock injectors in the vid no Tune will post link if you want to see it running. I will delete it after you have watched it if you want also

So that’s why I have to constantly do spark plug thread repair’s it’s because someone reads somewhere about a coating and believes that will protect it and prevent wear and corrosion on the thread!
@@needmoreboost6369 Half a century and I’ve never had to do a plug thread repair in mine or any clients vehicle. You also can’t get the correct torque if you use crap on the threads.

Be interesting how the same setup goes without the intercooler. My guess would be much the same considering the boost is reasonably low and you're running E85
I'd make that hp trade in a heart beat. Even if it doesn't run faster at the track you are making more power down low with 6 less psi of boost stressing internals. Dyno queens might like the extra hp, but people who actually drive on the streets know that is a good trade.

Oh snap, this is still an M90? I thought you'd upgraded to an M112 already. You're going to need a significant upgrade for the stroker motor, an M90 will choke it up really quick. An R1900 would do a beautiful job - you can turn it nice and slow so it won't heat the air up much, and the higher efficiency will mean lower parasitic drag on the crank for more power everywhere, baby!

I get that V6 shit is reasonably cheap but it’s also not a factory L67 motor either it’s an ecotec with L67 top swap with nitrous . Mace camshaft and I can only guess a whole lot more fruit inside too . Built 4L60 and a converter and 3.7 gears . Is it running on 98 or E85 ? . Ok let’s look at a few different combo’s here … budget built 355 on the spray would go bottom 10’s über easy … hell I have seen 355’s running through factory bananas run into the 11’s N/A , as would a LS with a cam swap and nitrous (5.3 and upwards!) especially in a set up that only weighs 1475! My point is the people out there that think you can spin a poor little M90 with a pulley the size of a thimble and then the blower will make 40psi of pressure when it isn’t case . Mate I’m happy for ya that you got a M90 blower to go 10.50’s it’s no mean feat but saying it’s a budget build is beyond a stretch !

I don't like the supercharged holden motors you spend thousands and they just don't gain much power at all. compared to spending the same amount of money on a Barra or an ls
But the most satisfying....one of the hardest configurations of engines. But I'll run you in mine at 330hp and you'll only catch up at the end of 3rd gear .
Maybe just maybe if you ran a more effective blower on it , M90 Eaton blowers are pretty useless and everyone knows it ! If this was a turbo it would have been dropped in the bin by now because it’s waaaaaayyyyy to small and inefficient.
L67 are a very underrated motor! mines surprises a fair few people thats for sure
