The Daily Wire a thang
I don't speak Jewish. Somebody pls translate this slow motion pls.
Jon Snow was always a whiny twerp...he was always stupid (you know nothing Jon Snow)...
And the idea of a person doing stupid things for love is as old as time so those complaints were foolish...then came the "fascist" label which was gobsmackingly stupid....those are excuses all "Tyrants" say, fascism has nothing to do with it.
Pretty much had to stop at the rant about the throne showing just how clueless this all is...the Throne was the CAUSE of it all, her madness happened in pursuit of it and yes, the dragon understood that as dragons are intelligent beings AND the dragon and Dany were mentally linked so it knew he thoughts.
With so many legit things to complain about when it comes to the shit writing...these complaints are complaints geared to suit the anger of those that hate SJWs and are more political in nature.
Shaprio, you are turning into Rush Limbaugh...
Bran was the reason the Night King was able to get thru the Wall bc of the Night King’s touch (which allowed the NK to finally enter the 3 eyed raven’s cave and kill him and the Children who were responsible for making the NK what he was). He basically got others to kill the original 3 eyed raven and then the NK and then everyone standing in his way to power. Plus he has absolute power by knowing when anyone lies to him or is moving against him and AND can control the dragon (and any other animal and possibly any other person).
Ringing bells in this context might be a bad suggestion.
The Night King was trying to kill Bran to save us from this disappointment
The nightking was the hero of the story. Mind blown

This is perfect.
He's so punny and whiny.

Applying logic and fact's to a show with zombies and dragons... It's illogical to begin with.

That small council scene at the end felt like the show was parodying itself
I was joking before the show they would start an anarchosyndicalist collective and when that scene happened I got a little excited that they might be about to pull the biggest prank in t.v. history
I was laughing through that whole scene 🤣🤣. This was a parody & the real ending is not finished yet.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL !!!!!
How did the council keep a straight face when Tyrion spontaneously referred to him as “Bran the Broken” ?
John Cale there is actually a character from the history of Winterfell names Bran the Broken. From what I saw he had something to do with fighting the white walkers thousands of years before and also Bran the builder name was also mentioned. There’s a video on UA-cam called the history of Stark’s or something like that, that goes into detail and cites the books he uses quotes from.

Bran season 7: I don’t want to be the lord of winterfell I’m the 3 eyed raven
Bran season 8: king you say?
Excellent point.
Maybe he knew all along that he could wait and become king of 6 kingdoms rather than 1
I think everything he did he knew what would happen. The Stark's are good at using gifts of the gods to their own ends. Arya learnt the skills of the many faced good to avenge her family.
After Jon the best claim to the throne is actually Gendry Baratheon's
That's actually incorrect. Once you accept the legitimacy of the Targaryens you necessarily have to renounce Robert Baratheon's reign as lawful.
@@Ithil-00 Reason why everyone accepted Robert's claim to the throne is because house Baratheon is actually related to Targaryans through marriage since Ormund Baratheon married Rhaelle Targaryan. That means Baratheons since Steffon Baratheon have Targaryen ancestors and that's why with no Targaryens being able to claim the throne Baratheon is next in line.
@@Aboleo80 You might have a point, if the show were following the books. But of course, in the Books he is not legitimized.
@@Aboleo80 "Reason why everyone accepted Robert's claim to the throne"
If everyone respected his claim to the throne, there would have been no need to send assassins to kill Daenerys.
Besides, it's all the more ludicrous to claim that Robert Baratheon's Targaryeness is what legitimizes his rule, all the while denying his Targaryness by trying to slaughter every remaining member of that house, while siring the new royal linage as house Baratheon, not Targaryen.
It would be like Jon Snow, going to war against Bran, Rickon, Sansa and Arya and calling himself the rightful Lord of Winterfell simply because his mother was Lyanna Stark.
@@Ithil-00 everyone who joined his rebellion and later bent a knee to him. Daenerys still had a claim to the throne that's why he did it. All she had to do is what she eventually did. Get a large enough army and try to retake the throne and it would have been legitimate. My point still stands. Without a legitimate Targaryen being able to claim the throne a Baratheon is next in line for the throne under the old rules of succession.
Now that Bran is king and high lords of Westeros decided that a king or queen will be elected out of one of them that rule doesn't apply any longer. They basically became the Byzantine empire where one of the most prestigious and able noblemen gets elected to be the emperor.
Season 1-7 everyone likes Jon and thinks he's cool.

Dragon comes.

Takes revenge by Blow torching the throne.
Hmm.......seems legit.
Well.. I guess that make sense
Lmao
I saw it more in the sense that the dragon was angry about all the lives lost and the death of his mother due to the lust for power, in a way the symbolic representation of the throne is that it represents the ultimate power. All that power cost over a million innocent and eventually cost the life of the dragon mother as her pursuit for this power corrupted her and then resulted in "killing" her. The Dragon understood this. Just my interpretation of this.
This is underrated.
I gotta say, your bran impression is the best lol.

Bran is an evil genius. This was his master plan.
All of the things that happened, happened so that Bran could become King.
The Night King was the hero all along. We were just too blind to see it.

Jon got the best result, he's escaped from the madness and petty politics south of the wall, now he's back in the Night's Watch but this time his job is to keep the crazy southerners out of the true north.
@@MoffatLee I do agree and John gave a little smile indicating that he was happy. But I would have much rather it look like his own decision to go there to be free instead of them making it look like a punishment just to somewhat satisfy Greyworm.
Love that logic!
@@MoffatLee you have a looser mentality if you are satisfied with ending and you must be a looser in real life too. Or you are a raging hardcore liberal feminist who feels delighted the most popular male character on the show was treated like a useless pile of shit in season 8.
Rameez Iqbal I appreciate your energy but Jon going north instead of being a politician is a good ending for his arc. Plus wildling girls do it better. Ygritte > Dany. Plus he got to pet Ghost which was the best scene of the season.
The rest of season 8 was a flaming pile of shit. And as Ben mentioned Jon killing Dany and the unsullied and dothraki essentially shrugging was so jarring I couldn’t take the rest of the episode seriously.
I know this is hurtful for everyone to hear, but Jon Snow has been a “loser” throughout his story arc
Ygritte manipulates him into capture - bailed out by Qhorin Halfhand
Gets exposed as double agent by not killing horse trainer - bailed out by Bran warging into wolves
All hope is lost at the siege of castle black - bailed out by Stannis
Stabbed as a traitor for helping the wildlings - ultimate bailout by Melisandre
Rushes in like an idiot in the battle of the bastards - bailed out by Sansa
Gets himself cornered by the Wights beyond the wall - bailed out by Dany
Getting spanked at the Battle of Winterfell - bailed out by Arya
Jon Snow is not the hero people remember. He tries hard, he fights hard, he cares - but he ALWAYS loses.
_ ShockmasterG I always thought the show did a poor job with Jon’s arc, compared to the books. Jon is actually fairly intelligent in the books, has learned somewhat to play political games, and is fairly good at strategy, having basically written Stannis’ Northern strategy for him (in the books, Stannis is all but guaranteed to beat the Boltons).
In the show, you are correct, Jon is a pathetic loser with little to no redeeming qualities.
No, he's the hero we remember because we remember all the times he lost, but fought hard and until the end regardless of the odds.
Been saying it for a while, Jon’s been the most boring main character of any show in TV history. I feel sorry for Harrington, he did his best and there was nothing there for him. The only interesting parts about him are his heritage and his relationship to the Night King and those amount to nothing by the end.
Victory is not what makes heroes.
Laughing my ass off when he did the Bran impressions, it was painfully on point.
Dragon blow torches the throne to make it wheelchair accessible
Don't you see it was Bran warging him the whole time haha!
Dragons are familiar with the ADA, don't want the whole kingdom ruined over a frivolous lawsuit
Three Eyed Raven: I looked forward in time, I saw 14,000,605 futures.
Bran: In how many of them I am the king ?
Three Eyed Raven: 1
That's a Lot of Ramsay and Sansa wedding night views.
But does he also kill Thanos in that same future, or else all is still lost. :)
I was thinking of this, maybe he did nothing because it was the best course of action.
Bran is the three eyed raven
He doesn't watch into *a* future...he watches into *the* future. Which is why he never flat out told people about it. Since he's the only one able to do so, by doing nothing except what he's seen he would do, everything will fall into place anyway. At least that's what "realistic" future sight would work if it were possible in the first place. It's not possible to watch into the future since it didn't happen yet and seeing it itself would change the future hence it would be meaningless to look. But when you have *literally all information* you can calculate the future as everything is calculatable. But the only way to stay true to these calculations is to not say anything or rather to no influence it in any way after the calculation
I might be putting alot more science to it than the writers did, but this concept *would* fit and since the series is finished, I choose to stick to it until the books tell me otherwise
Jon was not the rightful heir. He is the son of a deposed Crown Prince. The whole reason the Starks and Baratheons and Arryns and Tullys went to war against the Mad King, Rhaegar's father was because they were done with Targaryens. The Mad King & his son committed crimes against those families. They were off the throne, and Robert was their new king, and they fought a battle to make that happen. Acknowledging Jon as the true heir, as the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, basically validates everything that Rhaegar did to start the war of Robert's Rebellion! Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna, from her family, being underage, and he was already married to the Red Viper's sister. So Rhaegar violated the rights of the Starks and the Baratheons as Robert was engaged to Lyanna. Then the Mad King murdered Lyanna's father and oldest brother at court. So Robert and Ned went to war, because of the offense against their families. Jon Arryn joined the fight to protect Ned & Robert whom he loved like his sons, and Lord Tully joined the fight in exchange for Ned & Jon marrying his daughters. All of this was because Rhaegar's & Lyanna's marriage was illicit, violating the family rights of the Starks and Baratheons and embarrassing the Martells as well. There is no way the North, Dorne, or their allies can give Jon the throne based on being the son of Rhaegar & Lyanna. It's crapping all over the resistance to the Mad King. It would be like Queen Victoria turning around and declaring herself Queen of America, years after they fought a war to get out from under the rule of her grandfather.
Balerion forges the Iron Throne and then Drogon just melts it.

Season 8 will go down as the biggest blunder in TV history. Not just because it was terrible, but because it was arguably the best show on television for years, and they pissed it all away.
Completely disagree, I just think you're salty that it's over. Nothing on this planet could ever have lived up to the hype that was surrounding season 8.
You clearly have never watched Dexter Haha. That is the all time standard of shitting the bed in a series finale.
@@djjazzyjeff1232 I'm certainly salty, but I'm glad it's over so I can move on with my life. You're right, maybe the hype could never have been lived up to, but to suggest that the writing this season was anything but terrible is laughable.
I have taken to call it "How I met your Mother of Dragons" since I think those two shows have tied for that honor...
@@djjazzyjeff1232 i defended season 8 until episode 6. They ruined it. There's no arguement or question about it. It will go down as worst ending. Great tv show. Terribke ending
I didnt know the night king was the true hero, he tried to deny the bad ending
"go charge at that guy uselessly and get stabbed" killed me😂
ben Shapiro destroyed game of thrones with fact and logic
It was already destroyed
Facts dont care about your feelings!
you forgot DESTROYS
...except that he thought Bran could see the future, which he could not, making some of his points completely irrelevant, but don't let that stop you from blindly worshiping someone...
doesn't take Ben Shapiro to do that
You can really tell George RR Martin didn't write season 8
absolutely, season 7 was pretty good because it maintained the intrigue, although Tyrian suddenly became stupid. But then, season 8 completely lost the GOT feel...it was just a stupid soap operaish ending with no real consistency with Seasons 1-7. Oh, and you've gotta love how in Season 7 Jon says, "You don't understand" as though killing the Night King wouldn't work, and then, of course, that was their big plan in season 8..What?!?
Yeah thank god he didn’t. We can look forward to the books at least, if he decides he wants to finish them which this disappointing finale might inspire him to do.
Drogon burning the throne was the highlight of the episode. It was symbolic. Jon didn’t kill Dany, the throne did.
😂😂😂
Just turning into birds, gotta fly like a bird! Haha haha
Better theory: Bran warged into Danny, driving her mad, so that he could become King.
When you play the game of thrones, you play to win.
You win or you die.
Yes! Where was Bran when the bells were ringing????
Well, he literally created the chaos by revealing Jon's identity.
Aegon used to hear whispers before he went mad. Maybe that was Bran just like he destroyed Hodors mind in the past. Now Bran has been whispering to Danny that no one will accept her and she needs to kill them all. Makes as much sense as the last 2 episodes did
@@imransuhail82 Right. The idea that Bran caused the Mad King's madness is a popular theory.
' Theon your a good man, now go uselessly charge at the night king and get killed' 😂😂😂
it wasnt useless
@@mikewazzupski Oh really? What purpose did it serve?
Timing is what it served. It had to happen because that’s the way beam saw it.
Jimmy Dean Bowl yea it was crucial for the butterfly effect atleast for night king to be defeated the way he was
It was the worst display of conflict in the show
After taking out loads of whites. With ninja skill charges like a bot at the most dangerous enemy he has ever faced
I'm still reeling from that finale, I never knew telling a good story qualifies you to be king. Ben's version is actually more or less how i envisioned it and makes it so much more spectacular. How can professional writers (2 mind you) mess this up?
Great review! Yup Jon Snow getting snubbed and acting out of character was the main reason this season sucked.

Prove that dragons are intelligent animals 😂👌
I thought Drogon knew in his heart that craving the Iron Throne is what ended up killing his mother, but... Drogon thinking his mommy poked herself on the meany chair is now headcanon.
I think it was meant to be a more impactful scene... Drogon basically saying "Ok no one gets this stupid fucking chair..." and also serves as a warning to what Drogon will do when he returns.
This. Great save!
Bran: *stands up and bitch slaps Tyrion* that wheelchair was just for show. But thanks for the recommendations!

I haven't watched many of Ben's GoT videos, but he gets points for referring to her as "Asha" rather than "Yara."
I like how the name Yara sounds though
I think he kind of butchered the whole thing to be honest.
Tbh I would like to see Ben talk about Stormcloak vs Imperials.
Arya’s ending was the most satisfying. She named her Direwolf “Nymeria” (not something basic like ghost, lady, summer, greywind, shaggy). Nymeria was a warrior Princess who sailed all around looking for a new home for her people, she landed on Dorne and pretty much conquered it. She obviously was influenced a lot by that story as a kid and pretty much ended up just like her.
Actually, Bran is just addicted to „Crow simulator“.
Where did he go during the battle of Winterfell? He warged those crows and...?
Scott Dickinson uh. What was he supposed to do? Just sit there in a chair and wonder what’s going on?
Ben's missing the most important part of this episode, which is Jon told Ghost that he's a good boy.
Seeing as the Stark fates have been intertwined with the fates of their dire wolfs, it kind of fits that Jon didn't say goodbye last time, he was destined to return.
@@Jester123ish But Sansa's wolf Lady is dead and Sansa isn't.
@@tari8134 Sansa's wolf, Lady, was the gentlest of all the pups. She was meant to represent Sansa's innocence/naivety. I think the direwolves moreso represent aspects of their owners rather than simply their fate, although they do seem to be intertwined a lot
He does kinda reference it at 8:32
If i was Ghost. I'd feel betrayed that Jon only came back after the dragon was killed. "Talk to the paw cause the ears are gone"
Ben Shapiro hitting truths as usual
Spot on mate
killing Dany was not ok after 7 seasons of developing her into a righteous leader from an abused victim. You are right about everything else Ben (in general you are 100% right about everything you talk about).
Kit Harrington did say we'd be disappointed...
animeguru0305 he also said that the got haters can go fuck themselves more recently 😂
That was so taken out of context. There's an entire article where he tells the critics to go eff themselves if they don't like the show.
Hes dissapointed hes back to freezing his balls off
@Yonis Ali I saw the video and I'm telling you people read into what they want to see and just automatically see things that aren't there. Are some of the cast disappointed in the outcome of their characters, yes but that's not the same as being disappointed and slagging off the show. There's an article where Kit Harington, Jacob Anderson, and Sophy Turner DEFEND the show call the critics rude and tell them to fuck off. But you want to dismiss all that.
Yeah watching the interviews with all the main characters, they all implied and hinted the ending was garbage. They were 100% correct.
This is Kats Starks dream come true, Sansa queen of the north, Bran king of the 6 kingdoms, Arya exploring and Jon exiled.
Yep,she sure hated Jon.
😂😂 So true
And a bunch of her kids dead.
That's the problem. It was too perfect an ending for the Starks. That's not what GoT is about. It was supposed to be bittersweet. Now all the bad guys die, good guys live and is basically a medieval fairy tale.
@@sohandesai4055 LOL Say hello to the psycho that wants the bad guys to win. Hello psycho!

This season was made by two guys who had already given their two week notice. They were done at the beginning of seven.
Eric Hillis - you mean two guys who ran out of written script by a great writer.. Martin. As soon as the show passed the books... shit
Yep. There was an assistant that worked with them, and he would also help write episodes, and I kept on thinking HBO should have just let them go and given the assistant the reins.
Why not have the " great writer.. Martin. " do the writing?
Did he die or something?
@@barklordofthesith2997 He didn't have the time necessary to flesh out all the character plots as story twists.

they don't decide to use the microwave oven instead of the grill on the 8th year just because a few of the cooks quit.
Bran be like:
Chaos is Ramp.
You now realise he didn't have Littlefinger killed because of what he did to the Starks, he did it because of suggesting that Bran would have to climb the ladder.
Great comment.
It's funny coz Bran despite his disability was able to climb the ladder of chaos
Bran won the race of the ladder of chaos, that sneaky bastard.
