The triggers are def garbage but I like how he has this kit set up cymbal-wise. I wonder if you could get 2 cymbal mounts instead of "closed" hit hat and cymbal?
Tama ... I would love to see the following hybrid setup as a drumkit .... Roland TM-2 & triggers on Tama Mini Tymp style shells all mounted on a chrome steel curved tubular rack with Remo Silentstroke or other mesh heads and Zildjian L80 cymbal pack ... ultimate home recording practice kit to use with drum samples from Addictive Drums, EZdrummer, Superior Drummer, etc ... similar concept to your Tama Hybrid Cocktail Kit but for us rock and metal heads who just don't like the look of those rubberised e-drum set ups and don't have a million dollars to spend on flagship Roland v-drums ... make it happen plz \m/
@@robertredford4332 140dB is crazy loud, even for a loud drummer, and a top end touring PA unit is about that loud at peak volume, with your head next to it. 120db is a normal rock drummer playing forte.
The sounds they used to promote this, are terrible. No normal drumsounds, but fxxked up sounds to show it is modern. Well, i would buy this drumkit but not like this.
......its nice to use the sample sparing and to beef up or alter the fundamental drum slightly to greater and more musical effect.......remember ....not to much sauce on the steak......otherwise we cant savor the meat.
I like the sound of normal live kit
It's almost like they're telling us not to buy triggers...
Are there sound settings that make this kit sound good, by any chance?
OFF please!
Off trigger is much better
Very cool kit. Im getting this
Better with the triggers off.

Its a shame the midi samples sound like crap. Off please
If I was to trigger my drums with the TM-2, how big of an amp would I need to hear the triggers over/with the drums?
if drums has 145 decibels, may be 50w to 100w, i think should be enough,....keep it loud:)

Can the high hat be on the left side?
Great idea, terrible samples.
I couldn't really tell when the trigger were on or off? This product doesn't seem right for me.
Wut? They gol a really great natural sound with that intonation, why ruin it with shitty samples?
The kit is cool and useful but the sounds that you are using to demo this are horrendous. I had to turn it off.
I could see using the kick trigger but the others are not happening.
Much better sound when is off
Triggers would be great for louder volume music ( why you would use this kit for rock I have no clue ) but most of those samples are ass
Take the triggers and the module and toss them in the trash and the set would sound great.
Better off using a Roland TD-4 and trigger the whole kit. My opinion.
Cara me diz por favor que chonbal e esse
the triggered sounds are so horrible sounding. Ouch! The Natural Live drum sounds way better!
Suena mejor sin esos "triggers " Jaja
PLS off
Off is fabtastic ... trigger ... shit
🙉worst samples ever😬
Great idea horrible sounds...
