@@Themusketeers5888 Updated XUV 400 gave 220km real world range check any YT range test video 😂 I don't know the reason by seems like they secretly reduced some battery modules to get attractive pricing as NEXON.EV gave 320+ km real world range and I'll buy Nexon.EV anyday without any doubt
Mahindra is much better than Tata in every department, be it tech, quality, reliability, After the much awaited interior updates, Xuv 400 is gonna kill Nexon EV, also Xuv is not sub 4m car, that makes it more sensible.
@evoIndia If I have the Budget to get an EV, will choose mahindra over Tata any day, mahindra is still not at par with maruti and hyundai but much better than tata.
Tata has elevated the competition to another level. Even with this update, Mahindra is far away from TATA. Back in the days, Mahindra used to make cars which were better than TATA(Especially in 2000's with Scorpio & Bolero, which were better than Safari & Sumo). But now a days, TATA is rocking in all aspects. Eventhough, a lot of scope of improvements are needed for both of them to play with global ones😅. Hope they would address the current gliches and issues with their prdts and overtakes Fuzuki.. It's not too far😅. I'm sure.. Thank you😄
@@evoIndia No, i won't. I'm waiting for the global prdts of these manufacturers. Those prdts should give the customers 100% confidence in the company. Both of them have to grow to lead the global markets including India😊
I am driving the Tata Nexon Ev empowered plus and trust me the interiors and the features are way to comfortable. Yes Xuv Ev has more space on the inside but the quality of interiors and that futuristic look on Nexon ev is something Mahindra need to catch up on. This they did in a hurry to make sure Nexon does not run away with the EV game because they already are way ahead
@@evoIndia I love most of the things but I love the steering (which a lot of people said is not practical but I am using it with such ease) and the paddle shifters for regeneration. Then the modes are so convenient and night lights have a very powerful throw
The upholstery and size of seats is way too better in xuv 400 Older version... I found nexon seats on the front too much smaller than 300 or 400.. do check out an xuv300 or 400...
Thank you for the video and inspired with it, I bought one. Couple of points - 1. Android auto does not work wireless as well as wired, No ETA when will it start working. 2. Automatic A/c control is annoying and useless as blower fan speed just don't go down below 4 irrespective of cabin temperature.
I wonder if Mahindra will give option to upgrade old xuv 300 dash board to new 10.25 in display and new Instrument cluster in the future ... FINGERS CROSSED🤞
This is a super disappointing review....He never mentions that XUV400 uses NIMH Battery whereas the Nexon has Lithium Ion.... Incidentally I own a Nexon EV Max and my partner has a XUV 400.... When you put both on a range test..The Nexon always came out on top... Speed should not be the highlight of a EV..it must be the range...I would always bet on Tata to score more than the Mahindra when it comes to an EV
There are no changes in the drivetrain or battery...these are just cosmetic changes which could have been implemented easily considering they already did it in other models..rear ac vent..rear charging port?? Really?😂
Most auto majors have similar interiors across their range of cars, whereas every Mahindra car, xuv 300, 400, 700, the Scorpios, Thar & Bolero all have different interiors. Strange. Atleast the Xuv series should have had similar interiors !
Ok. So now Harrier EV awaited. I am not buying any EV for next 4 years. But liking the rise in competition and my share holdings for these companies. Ha!!
Until prices of EV batteries come down drastically, EVs will always be priced more than their ICE counterparts. You need to compare their running costs.
both Nexon and xuv400 are inferior to their european counterparts when the body design of the car as a whole is given importance. Donno why indian cars lack aesthetics ,,look at the smiley face of the nexon and crude face of xuv400. The designer should take some inspiration from anywhere else. Ofcourse one cannot deny the great power and torque Mahindra offers while tata lacks a bit behind
Would you now pick the XUV400 over the Nexon EV?
Never
Never
I would pick xuv400 old over new nexon purely because of cabin space and classy performance.. period
Massive price drop makes the XUV400 a solid EV value proposition now. Rs 2.5 lakh cheaper than the Nexon EV is big news!
But punch is coming, it will be tougher.
Check the price range again😂
Nexon is 1 lakh cheaper than this
True that, now with the major updates its much better than the nexon ev.

@evoindia Grt, video. Can you please confirm the car color you were driving in this video. I am looking for the New Nebula Blue and want to be sure.

No. Tata are more unreliable
So you'd pick the Nexon EV over this, Abhiram?

Mahindra is offering auto dimming irvm in a 17-18 Lakh car but not in 31 Lakh Xuv700 😮
Haha! Let's hope Mahindra listens to this.
Soon
How did Mahindra still manage to make the dashboard look outdated even after updating it? 🤡
If I’m not wrong wasn’t the dual zone ac provided previously also?
Only in XUV 300 not in 400
Not in the 400.

Nice, update about 2024 kona, creta ev.
We have a podcast on upcoming cars coming out soon.
Not sure is it tatas tech or first mover advantage, but this car is way better than nexon ev. What is the reason behind all this.
Maybe because this is slightly sportier than the Nexon?
Not sure of XUV400 but will book XUV300 straight ahead, if these updates makes way to it which hopefully does.
Let's hope Mahindra updates it too.
It would for sure.. and this time they are getting TC along with AMT... pricing is what matters

Got 23 version in less than 15L such a huge difference compared to Nexon EV, xuv400 triumphs all hands
LED headlights
360 Degree camera
Ventailed seats
Electronic Parking Brake

I had the same question to the dealer.. of it did nothing like it..😊
Those Xs all over the front fascia looks like a little child’s school project! Why do car makers ruin the looks of their cars for no reason at all!
Would you have preferred if it was rather empty?

This was always sportier of the two. Both eSUVs have their USPs.
Rear space are the best in xuv 400
Now the bright interiors make it even more airy!
Mahindra already had the tech in xuv 700, why didnt they provide it in xuv 400 earlier? Knee jerk reactions from nexon ev updates and launches!
There's always some RnD required before any changes are made. Plus all major updates need some homologation.

It is bigger in size as well it's like saying creta is more expensive than venue

Mahindra better than Tati motors service
