I didn’t know that such a complex maxilar operation will be applied to kids. I’m impressed. After my maxilar operation I was able to talk and even heard for both ears without problems. They are a lot of risk involved in this operation. Dear Dr, you are a wonder… a real one, always dedicated and doing the best. Thank you and your team for share this procedure.
Yea, they can. I started seeing a doc around 2 years old and they were already planning my surgeries thru the coming years. I found another doc because the first one was in a fatal accident. The Dr. Used rib and hip bone to graft a jaw bone for me, however that did not keep, then when i was in my 30s I found another doc and he put an implant in. Now that has issues. I was born in 1981 and the treatment was still unsure.

Surgery on the face is always extremely painful in recovery. Whether the trauma be through accident or elective surgery. You can’t immobilise and ‘rest’ the head and face like you can a limb. The face needs to be working and moving all the time, to speak, to eat and drink and to keep clean. Only time, exercise and physiotherapy can make things improve.
But they will!!
I actually had my mouth wired shut 3 times after similar surgeries so there is a way to have the face rest. I had ALOT of liquids and used pen/paper to talk. It was so ANNOYING. lol.

Why God gives so much pain to a very few people? Normal people take birth with symmetrical faces and bodies. They don't even know what asymmetry is. They undergo surgery only for diseases like appendix, gall bladder stone, etc. But a very unfortunate few are forced to undergo very painful complex surgeries just to look normal or to feel confident. I got to read that surgery involving cutting of bones is most painful. So unfortunate. I wish no one had to go through such pain.

But still not confident as my face is not symmetrical
We just want to feel normal not pathetic and when some people do like "aww tumko Aisa kaise ho Gaya, bohut problem hoti hogi, accha Thora bolke dikhaoto dekhu speech abhi thik huyi ki nhi, aaa Karo to , eee Karo to, then seriously my eyes goes numb bohut jyada bura lagta hain tab

@@nrs31. I must praise your courage to have as many as 8 surgeries when I fear to take a simple injection. My face is asymmetrical. I didn't know about it until I saw my photos after the bought a digital camera or maybe be smartphone. I forgot exactly photos taken by my digital camera or smartphone revealed my facial asymmetry. Till I could be sure, I always used to think why my photos turn out to be so weird and ugly. From that time onwards, I refrain from taking closeups. I am deprived of taking close photos of my face to post on Instagram or Facebook in an age when everyone of my age does it without having to worry about anything like me. Actually my whole body is asymmetrical due to which my face too is asymmetrical. So, my case is different from others. But somehow people don't notice it. Till today no one has said it to me. I don't have to money, courage, family support and time to get any surgery done. And they don't know about my asymmetry, though I told my mother, sister, cousin and sister once or twice.

I think the tesult was not good,
Remember her face is still very swollen. Once the swelling goes down and with lots of physical therapy her appearance is going to improve she will in the long run have a quality of life. She might need a secondary surgery in the future.
