Music videowise: MASSIVE Crow movie vibes. Musicwise: 90s grunge pop rock with some metalcore. Plus a litte bit of The Cure vibes ..... Hell, this song should've been on The Crow
They’re copping alot of shit for this song but I’m in love with it, I’m a huge fun of tdp and butterfly but this new shit is cool asf, Although the dark pool was amazing I would rather something new over the same record again, this is good stuff from thornhill
I personally love this song, even though the dark pool is probably my favorite album ever. Digging their new direction, though I'm not sure that these last two singles have the typical "flow" of a thornhill song. My favorite part of this song is probably the part at 2:33, but I have no idea what the function of that part is due to the placement in the song. I think the more they write in this style, the better the songs will get.
There's such a dark groove to this song that you can't get rid of. I agree with a lot of comments on the original video, the voice is at times too muddled in the mix, needs to be more forefront.
I just can't get into the new thornhill style. I really wish I could, while I came around with Casanova, it is a background song. Not something I have an urge to listen to. I just feel like the current songs sound so muddy, so much gets lost in the mix for me. While I really enjoy the atmosphere and I would like it in a different band, I just had thornhill so high, that this doesn't cut it for them. Thornhill was my big thing when I found them, and with Currents and Spiritbox were incredible. It feels really sad to me, that they have decided to take this strange direction (videos look like eyeliner commercial). Feels like the incredible vocals, cool rifs and awesome atmosphere can't shine like they did in metalcore. In spite all of this, it seems like they really have an audience and a surprising amount of people dig the new singles. I really hope that the band will be successful in this direction and wish them all the best. I'll give a try to everything they release, but just can't see it right now. If you guys decide to come back to metalcore, I'll be waiting.

The Crow is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the broken window in the background.

Loving the style
My favorite song of 2022 I love watch someone react to it while I was recovering from Covid back in January and I had to relisten to it and it slaps.

Love this deftones influences perhaps but dude their dark pool album slapped and their previous work but this hits
It's one of my favourite bands, like Periphery and Voyager. By the way - do you know about this AMAZING CREATIVE Australian band?
Hell yes, banger

I agree better than Casanova.

Doesn't need to be forefront. It's an artistic element in the mix
You should react to some VOLA
You should react to ORPHAN - Callouses/Dying Light... It will make you punch the wall...
