i haven't had a chance to reply to the comments yet but for everyone asking about HOW TO TAKE IT DOWN, there are plenty of videos on youtube already so i wont be making one BUT its superrrr easy, especially if you dont tie your knots more than twice! Just cut the crochet hair as low as you possibly can (without cutting your own hair obviously) and then it literally slips out like butter, not joking at all, its very simple and not damaging to your natural hair at all =)

I'm in my 9th month of the transitional phase from relaxed to natural, and I needed a protective style. I tried your style on Memorial Day Monday; right before I went to bed for work the next day. When I got to work, everyone loved it. This was my first time wearing crochet hair, and my time installing crochet. I can work some clip in hair and a ponytail, but crochet scared the life out me! Miss Lady, I felt so proud! How long did it last... 3 weeks, and I just followed your video. I watched your video on and off for about a month until I was brave enough to install the hair. Thanks. You inspired me! Oh, I didn't use the cap.

Very cute. I still would have added ONE row of braids at the part just to control the sliding. One very skinny very short row on the part and put it so close 2gether it looks like one single braid and not a row. So when u crochet through it, it opens up the part and it looks more like a natural part and not as much slicked hair visible. But not having to cornrows it all is SUPER great. That's where all my time gets spent.. thanx for the tip

Only one Jess my name is Olivia and honestly this is like the best idea I ever came across I am a single mom of 4 and only in my thirties early 30s I never have time for myself I feel Unpretty because I want to be natural and I only do chunky twist of 10 in my hair everyday since I tried doing crochet braids but I always seem to cut off my hair well taking it down on my hair just don't like to hair in general and it falls out so major setback for me every time thank you so much for posting this video I owed you the world I can finally do such beautiful hairstyles like you just did and I dont have to braid my hair also it looks like l can easily take down the crochet with just my fingertips and no scissors I just pray that my hair dont mind and it can benefit from it. I also don't want another setback but I will give it a try and let you know thank you really u save me so much

I wanted to throw a comment on here a week ago. Did this style and everyone loves it. I used about 4 packs for my head, but it is super easy. Still looks good, so I'm planning on keeping it for another two weeks of I keep wrapping it up at night. When I do take it down I just plan on cutting close to the net like I would do any crochet style.

I’ve been using the Crochet Method for almost 2 years now. Before, I used to do long individuals & they would take me days but they’d look good. The Crochet Method takes me a almost half a day (because I would cornrow my own hair... even though I suck at cornrows). The would look good but I hated trying to do the cornrows. This looks so simple & easy & then the outcome is exactly the same! I’m gonna try this soon. Thank you, Beautiful!
    Stay Blessed ❤️

Don't isolate yourself. There are people who have been through what you might be facing right now and they overcame it. Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Listen, there's nothing that you can be facing that God is not able to solve for with God nothing is impossible. Hold on. Jesus loves you.

Your hair turned out beautifully! I actually just attempted my first crochet style with the freetress beach curl. I'm very proud of myself, but the hair turned out so frizzy and I ended up having to cut so much of the hair off. I had to turn it into an updo versus allowing it to hang. When I was done it just look dry and Frizzy and every time that I ran my fingers through the hair more and more hair came out.

I am type 4 and I typically wet my edges a bit with water then apply eco styler gel and lay my edges down for about 30 min with a good scarf and it lays down pretty flat (this is what I do all the time when I do high puffs)

Yes that doesn't work for me either. Guess they were born to be wild. Lol

Dustee's Gurl Her edges are done very well indeed. She does not relax she is all natural. You see her styling in the beginning to end she uses the gorilla glue most of the time and she ties her hair down for a bit. Eventually am sure it gets messy but we don't see it. After her hair is first done the edges will look great but we see it that first time on recording and that's it. All naturals can achieve it. It doesn't stay like that for weeks without touch up.

This question is for only one Jes. How do you undo the hair when you want to remove it?. I loved your demo of crochet hair because you are the only one who gave a slow motion as to how you put the crochet needle pull the curly hair and it tied it once and also twice..
    Thank you.

It's stunning and a gorgeous curl and color... But speaking from experience, crocheting directly into the hair, especially at the top and front runs a high risk of breakage, and you don't notice until after you take it out. It's quick and easy enough to do for a quick style, but I hope you ladies are careful when installing it this way because though it's a pain to get your hair in a good braided base, it prevents a lot of snagging and pulling when inserting, thus less breakage 🙇🏾‍♀️ just wanted to share
