I am 98 yrs old, and I have heard alot music through yrs and different kinds. Believe me when I tell you The Beatles could never be as good as The Bee Gees, just like The Beach Boys there harmonies are unlike any group ever , and no one can beat these 2 bands. I believe 1 of the reasons is because they are brothers. So their voices are similar, but different and that can make you singing for more better. Even tho I am 98 yrs old I love these Lads. It's hard to believe that 2 have passed and Young Barry isn't that young anymore. And respectfully the both of us won't be here too much longer. But they are a very special Lads.👵👍

I am in agreement with you. I'm 66 and, I believe, we were the last generation to have such great music. The Bee Gees are my favorite group. While many went crazy for the hunk Barry, I will keep my heart with Robin. I loved that red hair after he changed it. He was so funny I would have been chuckling all the time. Voices of one was good but put all together those voices were beautiful and fantastic. One of a kind group and sound...🕊💖💞🕊

they have one off my favourite song it called immortality wich they write for celine dion....we miss moris and robin whow passed away but barry still writing tht good music for their fans all over the world.
Here's the thing. ALL of them are amazing and have their own amazing voice. NO ONE was ever overlooked. You need to watch them more closely. Every brother was loved and appreciated. Look at Barry's eyes when his brothers sing. Look at Robin stare at his twin with love and adoration. Look at Mo give props to Robin and his smiles toward his big brother Barry. Look at them ALL. On live videos, find them and watch them. It's not fake love. Look at their eyes closely. It's real brother love and Maurice was never overlooked or left out.

Barry Gibb is the consummate artist. Singer, writer, producer and performer. Add Robin Gibbs angelic voice and Maurices overral musical excellence (He was a superb keyboardist, pianist and guitar/ bass player) and you've got a recipe for high quality timeless music. Bee Gees music will never die, thats for sure. Just like The Beatles and The Beach Boys their music will go on forever.

Having been born in 1980, my first serious encounter with the Bee Gees music was the 1997 album Still Waters. I then bought a Bee Gees Best Of CD and was blown away! Simply the finest harmony pop band ever!

I swear this song was every bit as good as "One" their 1989 US comeback hit. Maybe because '89 was all about musical nostalgia with big hits from Donna Summer, The Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper and even Donny Osmond it was a good year for The Bee Gees to have a comeback whereas 1991 is largely remembered for the grunge revolution and a big shift at radio and MTV it just wasn't going to be their year no matter how good a song they offered up.

ANN MART, I very much agree with you, I am 60 years old and the great legacy that The Bee Gees made is truly impressive, it is something unique, because the reality is that never again in these generations will we hear these truly special voices again, I have always said that the creator would give them those vocal sounds as a gift that they would only possess. All my life I have admired the Beatles, the Rollings, Chicago, Genesis, and many more, but The Bee Gees have been the greatest for me, although they did not give them all the accolades they deserve as a band. Personally, I have been very sad that Maurice and Robin have left and that has filled me with sadness, but I know that they are at peace singing to the Lord with other angels. Большой талант у всех троих и у каждого свой. А какие люди? Простые и близкие каждому, без звездных амбиций, хотя им можно было больше чем кому бы то ни было. Но не возгордились. Были близки к простым людям и остались. За все это их и любят. Ну а песни и музыка- это особая статья. Гении без приувеличения. 50 лет с хитами разных мастей- не каждый сможет продержаться. Многие сравнивают с Beatles, но для меня Bee Gees стоят гораздо выше по качеству музыки, текстам, аранжировкам, смысловой нагрузке, эмоциональному отклику людей и человеческим качествам.
