My first time seeing g this song about a week ago watched it two days ago can’t stop listening to it
I am lying here in the dark, it's 4 am. I am listening with my headphones to this beautiful song letting the music wrap around me and give me comfort. My husband of 46 yrs is sleeping next to me. I treasure these hours. He is fighting cancer and it scares me to death that he'll lose this battle and I will be left alone with only my memories and the Beegee music. These were our songs when we first fell in love May 1977. We would drive around on warm summer nites listening to them. I close my eyes now, lay my hand on his sleeping body and remember!!!! So beautiful!!

It's said they began writing this song and 'Tragedy' one day during a break from filming 'Sgt Peppers'. If that wasn't enough, that night they wrote 'Shadow Dancing' for Andy. Uber talented and ever-changing, but the harmony always ruled.

My grandfather, Raoul Poliakin, is playing the violin here. We see back of his head and distinctive white hair at 2:35. We knew he sat in for Stayin Alive but didn’t know he was part of this gem. He’s been gone since 1981, only a few years after this recording. He had a long music career with some very well known performers like Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and Tommy Dorsey. The Bee Gees were at the end. Not a bad finale.

Me too! I loved the BeeGees first time at 14 along with one of my friends! The rest of them made fun of us! There is so much nostalgia so many feelings run through me to this day when I hear the BeeGees and so many other bands! So great!

My dad passed away 5 days ago. This was one of his favorite songs. I was praying for him “ not to be the next in line” unfortunately he left us with a broken heart but deeply inside I know he is happy now without any suffering and pain after 4 months in life support 💖

I don’t know if you’re a Frankie Valli listener, but did you know his song late December back in 1963..he didn’t even sing it. the lead vocal was the drummer. never knew till a couple of weeks ago, I thought he was the lead singer to that song. The best song Frankie Valli and the four seasons ever Sung. and there was a lot of good ones. I love music and there’s always a story behind a song. The drummer left the band went back to college and he is now a professor. The drummer is probably retired by now. Frankie Valli is in his early 90s. He still doing concerts by himself. He needs to stop and enjoy life.
The blending of these three voices has never been matched in the history of music. It never gets old❤

These men are SO incredibly talented, lyrics, tunes creations, instrumental choices, the right voice for each line, chorus, etc. These guys GET IT PERFECT EVERY TIME. THEY SHOULD BE SO HAPPY & PROUD. I LOVE "For Whom The Bells Tolls", I simply love i Gotta Get A Message To You. Such stories in the songs makes a listener stop and appreciate what the stories tell. I'm 55 yrs old and I can remember when Saturday Night Fever came out, and hearing The Bee Gees for the first time. Yes, I was very young, but I do remember them at the time. When I listen to them now, I love their music. This song is one of my favorites and it does bring a tear to the eye. Pure Melodic Harmonies, beautiful song.
I was just thinking of this era the other day when I was listening to More Than a Woman. I was not even 2 at the time it came out, but that song just brought me to tears, longing to go back to a time when life was so much easier. Of course being a 2 year old I wasn't quite concern edwith the bigger questions in life, but it made me feel to melancholic, as if I had lived a full life back then with so many emotions.

No one, no singer, no writer, no group can produce a magical masterpiece like this or the myriads of songs these brothers have delivered to the world..over five decades their compilation of songs that they sang, and which literally hundreds have covered, is mind boggling and a musical achievement that can never be outdone..sure there have been exceedingly great singers and bands which blessed us with wonderful music as well, but the feat of the Bee Gees is absolutely light years away from the rest... greatness in the musical world will always be trailing behind these brothers. They are simply otherworldly...their class, humility, kindness, versatility,simplicity, resilience, their appreciation and love for the less fortunate is , in my opinion, simply a one in a lifetime God's gift to this world. They have, and their music will continue to positively influence generations for centuries to come...masters of their craft... never to be duplicated.. they are a phenomenon..my goodness, the sheer joy of listening to them!! A song for every mood, situation, or occasion.. they really fly rings around the moon..all royalties from this song were diverted to UNICEF charities..those who don't appreciate these musical angels are in a world of darkness...
