See everybody likes to go get them junkyard motors and put a turbo on it and that's all fine and dandy but you should have tore it down expanded the ring Gap a little make sure you have good bearings and you would have let it rip
Actually, I did none of that lol. I used the stock coyote 5.0 motor mounts. They legit bolt right up. Although, It does have a tubular k member but it’s 5.0 specs.
Come along way from the sn95 good stuff bro
Heck yeah man! Still a long way to go. Hopefully we’ll cross paths whenever I make it out west 🤟🏾
What did you do for epas / power steering
I swapped to a 2005-2010 Mustang rack. I'm running the stock truck pump with a flow restrictor.
😍😍

Funny you say that. The motor in this video spun a bearing then got replaced with a fully built lq4 . Poor junkyard 5.3 was short lived lol.
What turbo manifold?
silverado log manifold
What tranny? I'm doing a tr6060
Nissan cd009
@@Idwiwto interesting choice. Why not a t56 or tr6060 ?
@@pistolpete7280 cheaper to replace in the event it grenades itself.
Nice update! Did you k frame swap it? Or custom make your LS mounts?

Thanks for the info. I'm getting ready to do one for myself, and just doing a little research. Thank you for answering me.
