My saluki transitioned 8 years ago and I still am not used to walk alone. It has been the most amazing 15 and a half years of true love and companionship. They are the noble ones, the gift from Allah.
My dog is a rescue dog... he is half lurcher/half saluki. First time i heard of a saluki...he is so so sweet and he sings to records he likes! Plus he nips men from behind id he don't like em! What a special dog...ive fallen in love with this breed. Love this video... looks a fantastic life for doggies, humans and maybe the camels! 😁

Condolences for the Salukis you have lost - I'm sure they had great lives with you. I concur that after being introduced to Salukis they are such graceful, sensitive and amazing dogs. I spent three years in Dubai with my sister who rescues Salukis, Lurchers, and desert mix dogs, and now my goal is to relocate from a cold northern state to a warmer climate so I can get at least one 45 mile an hour couch potato in a climate that it would be more easily adapted to and with plenty of room to run. This video is wonderful; exactly the kind of thing that we saw in the desert - all the SUV's and lots of Salukis sprinting over the sand at astounding speeds. Truly a sight to behold.
If you want to do something really cool, please adopt one of these dogs. I am in the process of adopting one now in the USA. Please give them a loving home!!!!! There are rescue groups who will transport these dogs overseas. Please support the rescue groups and save these glorious creatures.
This is absolutely breathtaking to watch 👏👏👏👏 I am in the UK and Afghan Hounds and 2 Salukis and would love to see them run like nature intended them to do. Superb video. Thank you
