Hi Brian and Meadow, We enjoyed your video and were anticipating it today. Lots of action on the road, the extension, sweet Meadow and her paw and upcoming plans for fishing. Super. Our dog liked raw organic carrots. He would chomp on them like a cigar. That was one of his favorites. The grocery supply for Meadow was exciting to watch. Thank you for sharing. Soooo glad you are going back into the wilderness that I know you love. Now there are 3 of you-2 trapped in a physical body and an unseen but always present Sierra. The high country seems to suit you well. I am a lowland lass. I need to be less than a few hours drive to the ocean. I require a certain amount of salt air to survive. One day I hope to see the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. But at the ocean I feel like I can fly. When I loose this mortal coil I intend to fly a lot. I am so happy for you all.

Meadow is getting so big. Cuts on paw pads = superglue. That's what it was originally developed for. It's what my vet uses, and now I do too

Did you consider putting plexiglass on the top and seal it with clear silicone. Pre drill screw holes in it. Works great .Less weight.
Better off just pouring some epoxy overall of it using a jig to pout it evenly . It’ll seal everything up but possibly can crack i lf not done right I guess

I totally agree with the freeze dried food. My cat has horrible allergies and can't have anything that used to have feathers or scales... red meat only. Freeze dried dog food dinner patties or frozen pet food from the local butcher literally saved her life. Freeze dried is way easier. She is 19 years old now and has been on the raw red meat diet.... frozen or freeze dried for several years.

Yeah, she has a cut on her hind paw so I'm keeping an eye on it.
put some apple cider vinegar with mother on the hurt with a cotton ball. use it all the time in my post-surgical work for the Humane Society. great antiseptic/astringent/antibiotic properties. bitter taste discourages licking it off although if you can get some into diet it would be beneficial to her overall health. good luck. love to all.

Been looking at land in Seligam/ashfork area for quite a few years. Is the soil good for growing? Thought it was rocky.
Well, it really depends on the parcel but I've found the soil out here is good for growing food and having fruit trees. Asian pears and cherry trees do really well!

Yeah, her white feet are my favorite! She's really getting big and I love how affectionate her personality is. I feel really fortunate she came into my life. But I sure do miss Sierra.

Nice video. I suggest doing a nearly no talking video where you're doing work. You certainly understand that some of the appealing of these off grid videos are almost asmr in a way I suggest leaning into that. I suspect some of your highest viewed vids are winter camping doing work minimal dialog. Granted I find you interesting & enjoy your dialog, but there are a lot of people out there that find it relaxing watching somebody chop wood with a nice microphone.
I think doing silent videos is a wonderful way to lose viewers, and subscribers.
