Your piece is simply amazing! I love the whimsical nature of your thrift flip. I can't believe how many pieces you cut out and used. It still feels so cohesive. Always such a pleasure to collab with you ❤️
Bonjour Rosie 😁🇨🇦 OMG now that was soooooo cool and the result is amazing 👌 I love love love 💞 you girls are so inspiering and its really fun the collaboration of you 2 m'y favorites surnaturel collage artists ,thanks for sharing you wonderfull creative mind with the world 🙏
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Rosie….you are AMAZING! I always look forward to your videos. I can’t wait to see what Leah made. Thank you both so much for doing this. Sending love and light from Nashville! 🤗❤️
I’m always happy to see a video pop up from you, and you really outdid yourself with this one!!! Absolutely amazing!!! I could spend all day watching you and Leah create. Y’all rock!!!❤
Such a lot of work here and so nicely executed. Fabulous🙂 That was fun to watch your collaboration challenge with Flanzella, it meant making a commitment too for both of you by the sounds of it. PS that collage image you sent her is my favourite of yours.
You should definitely display this in your kitchen. It's awesome. I'm glad you used the matte medium. I know it's pricey but it's so good. I use it on anything that needs more than gluestick. You did a great job on this challenge!
Rosie this was such an inspiring collaboration with Leah you both created amazing final pieces,I love that the final tray mixes decoupage and collage together, and the black and white figures among the colorful food really works and that you have to really look to find them.A great pieces and another great collaboration between you both.(Matt)
Ya’ll are ridiculously talented and so imaginative! Your collabs are my favorite things that the 2 of you do. I follow each of you and enjoy both of your work, but when you push each other, some amazing results pop up. Thank you! Can’t wait for the next one 😊
You ladies are having so much creative fun, it is infectious! I love going back and forth between you and Flanzella's channel to see what each of you come up with. As I told Leah on her page, keep it up, you are rockin' the Collag-ah! 😸😻
This is an amazing piece of work! You definitely deserve to be proud of yourself for your efforts and execution. Well done. I'm off to watch Leah's video now. 😁👍🏼
Incredible piece! You are such a talented artist, Rosie. Your process videos are super inspiring too. Thank you for sharing what you create and how you create it.
I was initially really hoping for a spooky creation (tis the season after all), but I love thrift flips as well, so yay! The tray turned out awesome, and I'm off to watch Flanzella's video now. (Will you do Halloween content though?)
This was amazing! I kept wondering, before you started transferring all those pieces onto the tray, did you take a picture before you started moving things? I know I would be so afraid that I would forget where things go.
This is a masterpiece! Beautiful and whimsical. Your hours of labor definitely paid off. But I wonder why you didn't just glue all the pieces to a surface the size of the tray and then glue that into the tray? Also, I'm curious what kind of surface results from brushing matte medium over the top of the collage. Is it slightly tacky or does it have a visible texture of brushstrokes? I ask because that's what happened when I used Mod Podge on a collage and I was very unhappy with that. I have not used it since. I have never tried matte medium or any of the other liquid products that I see UA-camr artists using on collages.
You could definitely do that! I didn't want to risk there being any gaps in the sides if I didn't get the measurement exactly right so I opted to glue right into the tray so I could make sure each piece was right up against the edge. The finish from this glue was absolutely incredible--not tacky at all and you can barely see the brush strokes. I have used mod podge before on a piece and was not happy at all with the finished results (very wrinkled and can see texture). Highly recommend giving this glue a try!
@@eastofhoney thanks! I really appreciate your reply since you clearly know what you're doing (as does @flanzella as well). I've been thinking of decoupaging on one of those "cigar boxes" you can get at craft stores so I will definitely try this glue if I do.

You are truly the best collage artist on UA-cam! 🎉Bravo 👏!
I imagine this on a shelf as a shadowbox with model foods and people figurines sitting on the bottom.
LOVE this idea

I love your thought process. How silly that the first pics fit perfect, but nope not gonna use them. This tray turned out amazing.
They did fit really well, but flip this needed a custom piece! Thanks for watching 🙂

That looks awesome. Love it!
What fun. Love your finished piece.
Love it! Off to watch Flanzella! Thanks, Kathleen
This is an awesome collage. I totally love it!
This reminds me of “the borrowers”. Like they’ve snuck into a big person’s kitchen and are just going ham on the food.

I absolutely love this!!!! The whole process was such fun. I hope you do another challenge like this again.
OMG! Love, love, love this piece! Especially the people. You did an amazing job matching the people with their fruit or vegetable. ♥
The most fun part!

Can you share some of the places where you found the books you use for your collages? Thanks 🤍
90% of my books come from the thrift store! Just have to hunt around and flip through as many books as you can
@@eastofhoney Awesome, I will definitely continue searching 🌟 Thank you!
Collage is hard work🤯..more than just cut and paste 😉
It is, but totally worth it!!
Love this! 🍀💖
