You asked us to, "Please Hit The LIKE and SUBSCRIBE BUTTONS as well as the NOTIFICATION BELL." Therefore, all that has been done! :-) Do you have a video on how to ID wild onions? I know there are some toxic look alikes out there but I am not confident that I know hot to tell the difference. Also, can you make a video to teaches one how to use a Cammenga model 3h compass?
I've been watching you from day one. I look forward to you bringing new content out and I'm so excited to see what around the corner for your new videos! I wish I could come along with you on an all nighter challenge but I live in the UK. Keep it up corporal your the best!
I’ve seen a lot of great camping videos making shelters out of natural materials, but this is the best yet. Everything you did in this vid you explained in a way that makes a lot of sense. And you cleared the area of everything volatile to make your campfire in the dirt. I learned a lot from you, and thank you for serving. Semper fi!
Ah, thank-you Cpl, another awesome bacon recipe for my "Single Man's Awesome Cook Book"!! (you do get credit, my daughter thinks I need therapy). Much appreciated, you & family stay safe!
Oh wow!! I just realized you're SO close to 1M subscribers. That's incredible! And well deserved. Very few channels put in as much work and pump out as many quality videos as you do. I've enjoyed your videos through the years and looking forward to the ones to come! 🍻
I had a rough Saturday night so I woke up late, however, for today's meal with the Corporal I had diced everything. 1/2 pack of diced bacon, 1 smallish sized yellow onion (diced), diced green, red, and yellow bell peppers, 6 small to medium sized potatoes (diced) and for good measure to pretend I foraged for food I diced up some mushrooms. Mixed all together and cooked on low heat for about 40 minutes and seasoned to taste. I have dinner for tonight and breakfast before work tomorrow. :)
Out of all the SURVIVAL type channels out there, this channel is my absolute favorite. Thank you Corporal Kelly for an outstanding performance. Corporal's corner is the place for me.
Hi Shawn from Australia. Once again another outstanding outdoor educational video. It's good that you encourage people to experience the great outdoors. However, it might be worth doing a video, or at least bring it up as the first order of business, of what to do when you have to do "business" in the bush. Also some tips of staying clean. An overnighter might be ok but what about a night or two? What do you do about having a wash? Hygiene is very important in the bush. It's not like you can just go up the road to a local doctor or hospital.
I have caught every single movie reference since the beginning. A kindred spirit of outdoor adventure, skill honing, and fantastic 80’s movies.....as well as some serious bacon addiction. This is a good man.
One of my favorite backdrops and setups so far, wait and one of my favorite meals as well. Take notes kids, nature provides "almost" everything you need if you know what to look for. And leave no trace is an excellent principle and practice.
Shawn, thanks for the push notification on you tube I just love watching all the contents that you put out on bushcrafting. Your style of bushcrafting is not only entertaining but very informative and quite usable. I also like the fact that your willing to put out classes for us you tubers, thank you for that it's awesome. I'm a big fan of your channel and love all the videos that you put out there for us to watch. I hope that you can make some videos on edible plants and how to find, identify, process those edible plants and mushrooms. Keep up the great work you do, l'm hooked 👏.
In your own words Shawn "outstanding" love the framed tarp something I wouldn't have thought of doing and the "stick to the rib cage" cooking, all round a great video, as soon as restrictions are lifted here in Ireland I'll be trying my skills at some of these shelters 👍
Another legendary video, Food looked delicious. Im looking forward to the online courses keep the updates coming brother. Thanks for the content, appreciate all you do.
Outstanding as always man. No BS... I literally posted a picture of myself in the woods far away and said the same quote. Lmao!! That’s great Shawn. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Corp, I am a 52 year old Aussie male here still in bloody Covid lockdown. I can't wait to get out into the field to try out what I have learnt watching your videos. Thank you mate.
all that and more. he's a soldier through and through, which i find admirable, but he also is able to convey that childish joy of playing in the woods that, if were honest, we all know and love.,
I hope I can attend some of your classes. In what state do you think you will hold classes first? What brand of knives were you using? It was read but looked longer than the typical Swiss Army knife.
I really don't think that there's anyone out there who loves their bacon more than the Corporal!!!!!! I love watching your videos! I think you're the best!
I am glad I found this older video. I love the camp set-up. The potato - egg dish looks yummy. (However, I would probably add jalapenos instead of tabasco.) Thanks for this!!
Another great video. Hey, the rabbit was after the bacon!! You do know that if you ever go camping and get attacked by a wild animal it will only be because you taste like bacon....lol
Great 'Predator' moment, that's really cool you are beginning boating adventures, that'll be awesome finding some islands & such! Really great camp site & leaving no trace. Thanks

Take a slice of that bacon and rub it all over that potato before you bake it. Any kind of oil or fat will do but since you have a supply of bacon within arm's reach at all times, use what you have at hand. That fat will create a nice crispy jacket on your tater. You'll never leave skins behind. (Somehow, I doubt you do anyway : ) BTW, I have a yard full of those wild onions down here in Georgia. Come get all you want. 🤣
I enjoy watching videos like this. I know it's fun because I've made several kinds when I was younger and taught my daughter too. We had so much fun. Are you really in the military? My parents were. He taught me some survival tips when I was little. I'm now trying to learn to tie knots. Hopefully when the weather is warmer I plan to camp in a pioneer campground and try out the structures. I would like to learn to survive in the snow. I'm moving from Central Georgia to Iowa next week and have no idea what to do in the snow or if the car slides off the road and is stranded. Like to know how to survive until help comes. I am 68 years old.

Hello!
May I take the opportunity to warn your viewers about a company called Clayben that manufacture clothing for the outdoors market?
I ordered a pair of 'tactical' waterproof and rip-stop pants from this company as they were advertised as the same as the marines wore.
The company states they are American owned and operated, yet the product arrived from China.
The product was not as advertised, in addition was of poor quality. On the third day of wearing them I discovered a large hole in the front pocket. On closer examination it became clear that the seam had not been stitched properly and I was able to place all four fingers of my hand through the hole without force, or bending them.
Further examination revealed other stitching that was incomplete and other loose threads.
I raised the matter with their service department and received an email in reply, suggesting I give the product away to a friend or relative, or alternatively try to resell it to someone else.
Naturally, I told them that was not an acceptable solution to me, that I wanted a refund of the purchase price.
Since then emails have travelled back and forth with the company offering me, first of all a 10% discount which has now increased to 45%.
I have refused their offer and insisted that they send me the return address for me to return this faulty product which differs from that I ordered.
On checking reviews online, I found over one hundred reviews of complaints about this company, not one favourable. That was on one site alone.
Far from being an isolated incident, most of the reviews echoed my experience. There were tales of faulty products, failure of delivery, fake shipping codes, incorrect sizes.
The customer service department is appalling.
I am now raising the matter with PayPal and my bank. I feel that I have been scammed by this company and wish redress.
I also don't think this company should survive when it treats its customers with such distain.
They are advertising heavily on Instagram and other platforms, aiming at the back-packing and camping market.
Do not believe their online claims of 100% satisfaction guarantee. Nothing can be further from the truth.
I suggest your viewers be wary, buy local where you can to support local people. If you buy online, make sure it is from a reputable company, with a proven track record of good products and customer service.
Thank you for your time. Stay safe and well all of you.
