Really loved the fish rising in the background as you were speaking...Tom your calmness and ease of speaking make it such a joy to watch and listen. Very informative and easy to understand. I am heading into the high Sierras after golden trout in June...an incredible dry fly heaven
Shade and shape of the fly is more important than colour. Slightly off colour is less important than too light or dark. Yes increasing the length of the leader by at least twenty five percent. Ideally use a tapered leader. Matching the hatch during mayfly or stonefly rise, makes for magical memories
