Thanks for this tutorial. I’ve already used it on our boating channel, where I needed to identify and track where I wanted to dock, versus where I had to point the boat to account for current and wind. Added a lot of clarity to explanation in the video.

Hey! You would need to duplicate the Tower layer and then cut round it frame-by-frame using the Draw Mask tool in FCPX. You keyframe the position settings of the mask for each frame so it moves and matches the underlying clip. It's quite time consuming but that's how the Tomb Raider shot was done here where the title is obstructed by the tree.

After 3 years with the Mavic 2 Pro and Smart Remote I am in the process of relearning everything. I have two sticking points that I have been unable to figure out: First, I would like to record video on the internal HD and photos on SD card. I would like to do this automatically just as I do with my Sony a1 sending video to card 2 and photos to card 1. Second, I would like to reassign the buttons and dials on the RC Pro. I can assign a few buttons, but not all of them. Keep up the great work.😎🤙
Amazing. I can see these types of graphics increasing my production value from my travel videos! So thank you - however, I edit in Adobe Premiere... My guess is that I can figure out how to do these types of graphics in Premiere was well?

In a photo similar to the one you used of a man walking I had no problem tracking the man. However, when I hit transform and tried get a title or an image to join the track, it didn't connect with the man walking track. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Thats great stuff.. however I ALWAYS have the text wibbling and wobbling, randomly appearing in aother parts of the video and cant seem to fix it with the transform. anybody else seen that and has a solution? I tried putting the tracker over more specific objects, or including more space, nothing worked. Im using the default final cut pro tracker

Sure thing! I'm not sure about the 3D motion tracking but you can definitely do the basic motion tracking in Premiere without any plugins.

When I go and add it to motion templets do you know what I should categorize it as? Ex: effects, titles etc. Awesome video!
This plugin auto-installed for us with an installer that was included in the download so we didn't have to find the right folder to add it to.

Is it possible to attach text to walls and ground with Filmora? If so, that would be a great vid!
Is there anything out there thats similar but windows based .?
This kind of stuff is normally done in Adobe After Effects. It's much less automated than this but is more advanced if you really get into it.

PFS trackers aren’t 3d trackers. They’re different versions of what FCP now has natively. 2d tracking.
