Man this space is amazing! Love all the old looking presses. It’s so cool how although you have all those large presses and so many desks the space open and inviting.
❤️ Thanks so much. It feels good to get the studio organized. It will also hopefully save time when making videos (not having to move piles of things from one side of the room to the other so they aren't in the shot 😂).
Everything has a place and everything in its place. Nice work. I also do pick up 5. You just pick up a thing put it where it should be and repeat for 5 minutes.
Having a dedicated space for everything is a shop game changer for sure. I love the pick up five idea (I should start applying that to my painting studio).
Thanks so much! It felt great to give the shop some love this year. I think my fav organization element is the cardboard drawer organizers 😂 cheap and super useful.
What a dream space omg I’m barely starting my printmaking journey with linoleum printing but wow hope to work in a space like this one day :)) best of wishes in all of your printmaking endeavors from Arizona ❤️❤️
Thanks so much! We do feel very lucky to have this space. That's exciting that you're starting your printmaking journey. Lino is a great place to start - affordable and easy to print by hand if necessary!
Thank you for showing your studio. I’m in the process of setting up my own print studio space. Seeing how you thought out the setup of your studio is inspiring and helpful. Thanks so much
@@sparkboxstudio I do! It is tucked away in a corner of my studio. I have recently tried to strip things down to the bare necessities. It is hard to find room for it all and I agree with the need for a designated station for each task. I can't wait to see the work that comes out of your space.!
I mean we haven't done the best job getting rid of all the non-essentials (hence the mountain of items hidden above our darkroom 🤦🏻♀️ lol). We just finished a screen print project and the glass table with adjustable feet that Kyle made was perfect for mixing inks on!
thanks so much! we love it too and wish we were out printing in it more 🫤 Just checked out your page and you make lovely work. I really like your murals!
We have ventilation in the darkroom but not in the main studio since we don't work with any chemicals in the shop. The lithography materials we used for our low toxic stone litho process we used outside in the summer since we thought it would be too smelly for our shop.
Brilliant design of your studio space...great DIY and scrappyness...perfection !!
Thanks so much! We love a scrappy DIY!
Great tour. tHanks for posting. The space looks super
Thanks so much 😀
Amazing! I love it all so much but am also very jelly about all your space and how great you’ve made it! Well done ! ❤
Awe thanks! We are pretty in love with and grateful for our studio 💛

Thanks so much! That means a lot. We're so glad that you can sense the openness, it's something we really care about in the space.
Love the space, so organized! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tour! Looks like a great workspace.
Thanks for checking out the video! We're hoping to open the studio up this summer a bit so folks can see the shop irl ❤️

That's so awesome! We're so happy to be of any help. Congrats on setting up your own shop. What types of presses are you putting into your shop?
A present time I’m doing screen printing and relief. I also have a small table top etching press.
Nice. Are you just printing your relief prints on the etching press?
Looks amazing! I often feel the same way about my studio space. It looks like it has great flow and is so very functional.
Thanks 😀 The flow is so much better. It means a lot to have each press have it's own "station". You have an etching press in your shop right?

Awesome organising, it looks so good!
Thanks Lisa! Organization and creating movable tables is a total game changer in the shop 😀
Wow! I’m thinking of opening a studio next year. What’s your square footage?
That's awesome! Our shop is about 1,000 square feet.
Sitting back staring at it with a blank mind is the highest meditation there is when you are there too. Be here now they say.
Great vibes video dude.
Thanks! We couldn't agree more.
love it!

this was very helpful! what is the dimensions of your studio?
So glad you found this helpful. The studio is roughly 22 ft x 36 ft.
Yeah! Cardboard and hot glue are so much better than plastic.
We couldn't agree more! Plus you can customize it to whatever you specific needs are 😄
No ventilation? Just asking ...
