If I say 'I am about to have finished the project.'
Is the meaning of this sentence carrying the future tense? Does it mean 'I will have finished the project'? If it's wrong, how can I say in another way?
Another question is "It was hot all summer/the whole summer." Can I use the preposition 'For'(for the whole summer/for all summer)?
Hi Ryan! Yes, it's future tense but the immediate future i.e. extremely close to the present time/just after the present time.
You can say "for the whole summer" or "for all of the summer", but not "for all summer" 🙂
I’m not à native english speaker but " I am about to + verb " means I have almost finished my project = anytime
Please we need strong or vivid verbs in examples
