have you used the proreck club 8000? also do you know which has better sound, this or the jbl partybox 1000? also do you know if you can run 2 proreck club 8000 together for a total of 4 subs and 4 sets of tweeters/midrange?
Thanks for watching and your question. I have never used the ProReck 8000 but it’s very similar to the 4000 which I’ve used many times. It sounds good with lots of high / mid range and decent low end. I’ve heard of the JBL partybox and I’ve heard it in a store but I don’t think i could compare them .. different systems. If you can afford the JBL speakers they will have more clarity in the highs and mids but the ProReck will have more low end in the two 18 inch subwoofers. My opinion. And Finally Yes , the ProReck 8000 has 2 XLR mix outputs which can connect to any other powered speakers or subwoofers. Thanks .
Yes , the ProReck system subs have XLR mix outputs or RCA monitor outputs and a dedicated passive sub output . The single sub units like the PR18 or the New SP series will not power a passive sub .. but will connect to any other powered subwoofer. Thanks .
@@612eddie The ProReck 6000 has an output to power a passive subwoofer . So just use one of the powered sub outputs for power you one passive. Thanks .
Hey DJM - Thanks for the info, I had a quick question. The method for XLR to RCA & XLR to 3.5. You are plugging the XLR to the left channel, how is that providing a stero L&R output signal?
Thanks for watching and your question.. kinda of a technical question. But depending on the set up a 3.5 or rca to XLR cable will have stereo. Unless your device input has a left and right XLR ports then you need both inputs L&R to make stereo. So just depends & you need the right cable but they make both types…
Thanks for watching and your feedback. Absolutely. It’s the Same idea as powered sub just link out from the ProReck’s output to your speakers . You Will just need to find you correct cables for your application as the 3000 /3200 systems only have RCA outs & The 4000 has XLR outs . Thanks

Hello , I really appreciate the feedback and support. On the ProReck 3000 (question) are you saying only one array speaker works on the column of arrays .. or only the left or right channel on one side is working? A couple quick suggestions .. always check for bad cables (even if new) , double check connectors / connections, and check audio output cables RCA or 1/4 jack cables . On the array speakers .. they have multiple inputs try them all . ProReck systems are a little different setup since they all work from one of the powered subwoofers. Thanks .

Yes , basically stereo is recorded with 2 microphones separating the sound / music /vocals in two channels L&R channels . Which gives more depth , and sound separation in the music or sounds .
