I was kinda "afraid" that they would just mix random dinosaurs together (like the Stego living at the same time as the T.rex, etc) but they made extra sure that all the dinosaurs actually lived in the same time period and at the same part of the world (at least from what I can tell ^^) which is pretty cool! I think that show was a good mixture of entertainment and an actual interest of showing people how these animals might lived. Pretty neat!
@@allegocraftandandgems Yeah sure, you need a reason how people can interact with dinosaurs in the first place, but the dinosaurs themselves were pretty good.
as someone who recently read Raptor Red (a 90's novel from R. Bakker) and seeing the courtship scene reenactment, i can't express how surprised and excited I was! This show reminds me when I went to one in 2018 in my country
Agreed, it reminds me of the Walking with Dinosaurs arena spectacle I saw as a kid. It’s amazing how far both technology and practical effects have come, what once could only be conceived of with massive, heavy robots can now be done with lightweight suits. It’s incredible :)
I actually watched this back in summer 2020. There was a pandemic, but my friends and I went because they took a lot of precautions for getting good ventilation and social distancing (we could also tell because the fog machine was not working as it would if the stadium was sealed). We didn't get to see the triceratops and the brachiosaurus (they were on different days), but we did see the t rex, utahraptor, allosaurus, and stegosaurus. They were later doing like a walk around at the outdoor section of the stadium. We were chatting about how it must have been hot as sh+t inside those fluffy utahraptor suits under the scorching sun.
@Tank Squad 2010 I really liked the utahraptor, even if it might give the wearer heatstroke. I liked the calm ambience in the particular scene and the calls that they made. It was also cool to see stegosaurus managing to have control over its tail during the battle with allosaurus.
thank you for sharing this with us! That looks like an absolutely brilliant production, i hope it makes it to the States so i can have a chance to see it first-hand. I kinda grew up with theater productions, from what i could see in this it looks like they really went all out. those Jellyfish looked beautiful, the costumes/puppets looked fantastic, and the stage must be enormous! 4:15 the Doctor Who theme was an unexpected surprise, but a welcome one! In all seriousness, this looks like an absolutely *fantastic* stage show and I wish I could be there! It reminds me a lot of the 'Walking with Dinosaurs: The Live Experience' play, which I sadly never got to see but from the pictures and videos I've seen it looks cool :)
I was just thinking the same thing about it being similar to the walking with dinosaurs live show. I was lucky enough to see it when I was younger and it was amazing, I really hope they bring it back one day and you get the chance to see it!
honestly a cool idea for this show if they expand to different countries each country should have their own unique dinosaur in that show for example the United states could have Dilophosaurus only while the united kingdom has baryonyx. Would make each show more unique then the other.
@@therealHedorah71 What the heck are you talking about none of those dinosaurs were found in Kazakhstan. The only named species found in Kazakhstan are three hadrosaurs (Aralosaurus, Jaxartosaurus, and Kazaklambia) and one basal hadrosauroid (Batyrosaurus), there are other dinosaur remains like oviraptorosaurs, troodontids, tyrannosauroids, ornithomimids, sauropods, ankylosaurs, and therizinosaurs there but many of them are indeterminate and don't have a species classification.

God, this brings back memories of the Walking With Dinosaurs Live show I saw like a decade ago One of the triceratops actually broke during the show. There were two of them and they were about to have a bullfight on stage, but when the challenger trike came out and started shaking its head, there was this really loud CRACK that was its neck snapping, and its head dropped. They turned the lights down REAL fast, and for the next 10 minutes we watched the other trike wander around the stage "eating" the inflatable stage plants 😂
Wow surprised at the accuracy of the dinosaurs. I mean their are a lot of problems still but the fact that they included quills on the trike, fat on the Rex, proper hand posture it's quite impressive how up to date it is
I've been to one of these before in the UK it was amazing, they had the same/similar dinosaur models as the ones I saw. It really had a walking with dinosaurs vibe to it and also played the soundtrack!
Damn Japan. That's where 65 years of Godzilla and Tokusatsu in general has brought us, you really can't beat Japan when it comes to this stuff. They are the masters of suitmation, you wonder where all the budget the US uses for CGI goes to in Japan.
The scene with the dakotorapters and T-rex is very similar in context and design to the Postosuchus’s death With the dekotorapters being the ceolophisis and T-Rex being the Postosuchus. (I found that the T-rex design looks very similar to the WWD postosuchas.)
i think its so cool how they keep the dinosaurs up to date. like the Allosaurus for example it looks like that now but in like 5 or 6 year the Allosaurus could look so much different. also I remember seeing this show on UA-cam last year and i saw a guy get bitten by a T-rex and i was like omg i want to get eaten by a Dinosaur
