This is honestly one of the best Jason designs ever in the franchise. Too bad they hardly use it in the film. You did an amazing job recreating this short lived, but masterfully crafted design.
I would use that very thin paper (called crepe) to make the flames. Plus since the paper is very thin they will move as you walk. But that is how I would do it though. The rest would rely on the illusion made by a good paint job.

Hahaha, that's kinda true. I do tell my neighbors that if you see Jason in my back yard it's probably me, they think I'm a idiot but I don't care what they think :-)
His jumpsuit thing is also too light in colour I think. There's not much he can do about the head thing though, J9's big fleshy meathead would be very hard to craft

I don’t know if it would be cheap enough but you could probably stuff some fluff or something like that in the head to make it more big/bubbly looking.
My only nitpick with this is the jeans, since in the movie, it looks more like work pants of some sort. Though the suit in the movie has looong been disputed as to what type of clothes and color it even was. Other than that, I’m stunned this was achieved with $25. Good job sir!

I have an idea you could also used a heat gun to make the bubbles on an old man mask and then paint it a little bit and add some cheep hair from the dollar store
love the part 9 hair style idea reminds me of jeepers creeper happens to be my most fearful Jasons that i do not want to run into a dark alley especially the remake and Savini Jason those 3 seem to be the most dangerous stongest ones which I am afraid of if i had to pick some to be the most scariest Jasons out there
What would have made it more accurate to the movie was if you hit glued the mask to the latex hood, because this Jason has his mask fused with his face, still cool nonetheless
i thought jasons outfit was more of a gray color and it wasnt jean pants he wore it was more khaki pants and the shirt as well im going as this jason this years halloween i already have a custom outfit added into my cart on ebay its screen accerate the mask as well what type of boots did he wore
@@CS5UNMASKED but it will be easy. But when you do it buy a MEAT CLEAVER because when you made part 5 jason you didn't use garden shears like the film so please get a meat cleaver if you do it in the film he has a pig splitter (btw its a gross name🤢) but a meat cleaver is the closest.
If I ever make this costume, I’m gonna dirty the shirt up a bit more and glue the mask onto the latex hood (cos in the film his mask is imbedded into his head).

The costume looks perfect, type only complaint is that the head is a little smaller and gives away the whole attached to face vibe a little

I did try doing that but the mask didn't fit right and Jason mask kept becoming off centered so I took it out.
We need part 7! He's my favorite design, and if I were to make a cheap costume with him I wouldn't know how to add the bones behind the shirt, lol.

Do you use 100 grit sand paper on all masks?
No, I switch it up sometimes. Smaller number grit for more scratches, higher number grit less scratches :-)

Make sure you glue the hair to the flesh parts though. Hair doesn't grow from exposed bone.
