@@a.n.t.94As a fellow singer I agree. It is pretty simple with the way he sings, but he still brings an extra shine with how he uses the technique. His energy and performance is what really makes him top tier.
He doesn't JUST hit a high falsetto, he does it with grit, constriction, giving it that gritty mental sound, it's not a clean falsetto, arguably making it that much harder to not only hit, but to maintain. Bro is underrated.
the fact he can do this in his 50's is just insane, man is pure talent i'm sure his lack of ever doing this live is why his vocal chords are still good to do it live now haha
👏👏👏 Huge thanks for this video and all others from fans as without these, those of us who have never seen or will ever see Tenacious D live get to at least see a tiny bit of that sweet awesome treat that you fans have witnessed. 😎🤘❤
You gotta remember, this song is literally an impossible song to get right. It's made on purpose to be out of this world, you would never be able to do it live. I think Jack does an extremely good job mimicking exactly how the vocals sound though, impressive as fuck
@@mauricioramirez7863 its all good, thankfully theres this video. I've seen Tenacious D live before but Master Exploder is the song I would want to see them play live the most
They did this in New Orleans! It was the one song I was dying for and knew there was very little chance. They started playing and my heart stopped. Also no shame on this video, but they had way more energy in Nola for this song and we adored the love

No freaking way they played master exploder live!!!!!
I heard the people who attended had to sign a waiver because they were at risk of having their minds blown literally

Check that one, it's even better
The fact that jack can and does those high notes is so fucking awesome! Alot of singers cant do what he can do and that is so rock n roll
As a singer I would argue that the high falsetto notes are actually the easiest part of this vocal performance, but they are impressive nonetheless.

That is F**king amazing!
They actually did it
They did it at another show before this tho. The footage from that show however is incomplete.

1. Create a song that would be so utterly ludicrous to perform live that it's a joke.
2. Actually learn to perform it live.
Much fucking better this way. He ACTUALLY got such a powerful voice that he'll fucking blow your mind.

I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS IN CONCERT!
1:07 even R2-D2 came to see tenacious D, no way!
😂
Jack Black is a absolutely underrated Talent!!!!
What? 💀
No one is disagreeing that he’s ridiculously talented 😂
They are perfectly rated everybody knows they are amazing
He definetly isn't underrated
no guys they got a point jb can't be rated enough to match the amount of rate he needs
Not the first time I’ve said it….not gonna be last… Jack Black has got some serious pipes man…amazing energy…
My JB messed up and you can see it in the drums guy
I loved this concert. Thanks
Jack made a mistake by got ahead on the song, but is very impressive that he can still sing those notes, really awesome!!
The way the band and drummer in particular are able to recover also makes this impressive !
okay no hate but the dude that didnt stop at the right time at 1:00 made me cry laughing
best birthday of my life
Ah man, the D is the best possible birthday gift - I'm jealous!
Talking seriously.. this must is a fucking difficult song to play live 😱😱😱 MASTERPIECE!
Wish I could have seen The D at Stage AE cause they did this there to.
This song is can easily compete with all the best rock songs. It’s so good
That was freaking awesome!!
lmfao too omgg i can't breath fr
Wow I looked this up thinking it would be just a lip sync, that was amazing.
Look at the setup so minimal... Yet u can rock harder than most.
I do not need.

My comments are fucking.
POWERFUL.

and yet he needs a microphone
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The mic is purely for visuals, it is actually turned off
U expected like how many years for this I told you :))
So he doesn't use his full voice. No one wants a mass murder-concert with heads innards blown
No bro the microphone needs Jack
My mind almost got blown...had to mute it before it caused permant damage.
“I do not need a micro phone” says jack black whilst singing into a microphone 😂
So funny but still so damn good
jack black es muy hiperactivo.
Fukking good
Jables and Kage are underrated
Sorry typo error they are the real deal❤
THIS IS SO FUCKING AMAZING!
They ste the teal deal❤
Not bad at all
The only one who can do it
