    Oh- Director Park.
My son is very proud of him because they went to the same high school.
But I love him for his artistic presentation of our world.

I am very curious to see his scouting shots for the movie, Oldboy. The dam scene, the suitcase scene and the "tongue" scene.

It’s kind of weird he is a well regarded film maker but doesn’t like actual film lol. A lot of the images are gorgeous.

The pictures are pretty mediocre - there are MUCH better photographers out there. Come on Leica start using some proper photographers!

Francis: Who are you to judge? What is your credential? Do you know this director and his work history? How much do you know about photography in general? Are you qualified to judge others' photo works? Are you a repected member in the photo community? Have you sold a single photo to a buyer in your life? Do you have a website you can show what you've done? This director has many successful movies under his belt including Old Boy that was remade in Hollywood. You on the other hand have anything to show? You can only blabber your mouth talking shit about others' accomplishments.

Photography fans have become thin skinned. Used to be you could just tell it like it is in the photography world. If people would take a few actual college courses, they would understand that by speaking the truth doesn’t mean your disrespecting this man. Also, you can appreciate great photography, but not be a photographer yourself. This man may be respected in the community and be a great director, but he’s not a great photographer; if these images are representative of his work. It didn’t look like he even touched the files. We all know Leica Monochrom files come out of the camera very flat and need to be massaged with software as film did in the darkroom.
