I’m visiting Seattle in June for the first time since I lived there 12 years ago!!!! I’m so excited for this series I’m staying @ the Marriott in south lake union 🥰
Super excited for this channel! Recently moved to SLU from Fremont/Wallingford back in the fall and i love it here. Being in a high rise has always been a dream! next goal is to own a condo downtown!
I have a feeling I'm gonna LOVE this channel; I'm Seattle born and raised and currently attend University of Washington, and it's my dream to buy my first home with you!
@@tommynikon2283 Do you really think a Seattle-born person doesn’t understand how much it costs to live there? Let people live where they want and just because you can’t afford it, don’t try to tear down others for wanting to live there.
Subscribed! Love your new hub!! I used to do a show there at the theater about a 10 minute walk from Pike Place Market. What area is that? There used to be a restaurant called Blowfish I used to go to after each show. I am not sure if it is still there, but I loved the area!
Love your videos. The video/editing quality is great but so are your descriptions of neighborhoods and apartments. I'm planning my move from the Bay Area to Seattle, and although it won't be for another couple of years, your videos have been super helpful. If you're still in the real estate biz by the time I move out there, I will seek your help!
Hi Monica! If you ever want to interview a techie hit me up 🥰 moved here from across the country for work after college and I’ve been loving it! I know a lot of people are in my same situation every year and moving to a new city can be so scary.
Your Seattle videos really make me want to visit the Seattle area! I´ve been to many cities in the US (touring the east and west coast) but now it is so tempting to visit Seattle. Hopefully the Covid Travel Ban for European Citizens will be lifted soon. And I am really excited to see your new projects!!
Would you be open to doing a video of the surrounding towns like Bellevue or Bothell? Like by Nintendo or Microsoft?? For those that want to live in more of the residential areas and work for those companies? Thanks!!
I loved the video and the cinematography but it would be nice if you could work a bit more on the sound and shaking- for example when you where outside the sound wasn't as nice and some shots where kinda unstable ? Maybe buying fluffier cover for microphones could help, and for the shots I think something like stabilizing thing that goes on the bottom of the camera could be good, just my thoughts tho 🤷🏻♀️ overall good job on the video and storytelling!❤️
Been living in SLU for a minute now. People say it’s a lifeless neighborhood. Which is pretty accurate. Everything is here is boutiques and specialty restaurants. The closest thing to fast food is Shake Shack. Night life is next to non-existent and for the most part it can be pretty cold. That said, it’s super clean and really safe - which is saying a lot given the current state of things in the rest of the city. I wouldn’t consider living in any other neighborhood. Though I do believe Belltown is on the come up.
Funny story: Brooklyn Naval Yards had a similar story to the MOHAI 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder if there are other parallels between New Year City & Seattle… BESIDES Pete Carrol. ✈️ 🦅
I live near this neighborhood. My favorite game to play around here is “human or dog poop?” Our dog walkers like to leave their pet poop behind and our homeless are out of places to poop. 😕
🌿Thank you for sharing the beautifully crafted and informative video of #SLU. The quality and content of your videos are most appreciated, and it's clear that you have a comfortable understanding of the area's unique features. Also a fan of the sophisticated urban bustle of the South Lake Union neighborhood. However, I've come to realize that Mill Creek is a nearby suburban oasis. Mill Creek's unique blend of top-rated schools offering advanced programs, amenities and lifestyle is hard to beat. With a 25 mph speed limit throughout the city and stringent regulations on street parking and campers, Mill Creek ensures a safe and pleasant environment for all residents. What specifically sets Mill Creek apart? Most Mill Creek residents can easily access a range of desirable amenities and destinations on foot or by bike along a scenic private paved hiking trail, or by walking along our beautiful sidewalks to their destination: • Top-rated schools offering advanced programs • Cafes, restaurants with patios, and gourmet grocery stores • Fitness centers, private golf course, and country club • Swim and tennis clubs, pickle ball and tennis courts, and beautifully maintained parks, and nature preserves with over 23 miles of private paved trails • Exquisite neighborhoods featuring homes by Murray Franklyn and the Buchans With a similar commute on average to downtown South Lake Union and Bellevue as driving from Issaquah and Sammamish, it's an attractive alternative your clients might appreciate. I'd love for you to experience Mill Creek's charm firsthand and see why it's a hidden oasis that's worth discovering. 🌿
She's been on UA-cam for odd 13 years or so ;) This a channel targeting a very specific niche, that she just started, next to her main channel @MonicaChurch, so most of the new subscribers and views are existing ones from her other channel.
So where are all the tents of homeless encampments? The city parks that can’t be enjoyed by families because junkies being supported by social services etc... I could continue but won’t . Be honest please, if I moved here based on your video I would be very angry. I have lived in the area the video is discussing for over30 yrs and recently listed. Not a beautiful place
it's still beautiful and yes we have homelessness (like every city) Seattle is working on the problem - but SLU has zero encampments as do many other places - resident for 15 years and still love it -
So excited to see all the real estate videos go up on this channel!

I'm SO PUMPED for this channel! I live in Seattle and you did an amazing job portraying it through video Monica!
I love this video! I feel inspired to create similar videos around Tampa FL 💗
I like the contrasting apt tours. And l like both apartments for different reasons. The outside space that accompanies the studio is Outstanding.
I have a feeling I'm gonna LOVE this channel; I'm Seattle born and raised and currently attend University of Washington, and it's my dream to buy my first home with you!
Keep dreamin' kid; the average in-city house is half a million+. Don't tell me your major isn't medicine, tech, law, or engineering....

By home do you mean condo? Home will take a long time to afford here unless you can inherit.
Great video and AUDIO is perfect. Thank you for amazing information.
Great video! Such a cute picture of you at the very end!
Nice, clear and concise, great descriptions, in a word very Professional. Looking forward to future uploads.
Whoa that outro shot of you, Monica, fantastic! Love it. x
Ugh I miss Seattle alll the time. It was the best time of my life. I love it! Just crazy expensive. But hopefully one day I can move back !
I’m so in love with Seattle . 💛
I've been thinking about moving to Seattle and am so excited to learn more about Seattle through your channel!
So excited to learn more about Seattle real estate! I want to move their one day so this is great to see!!
Used to live in slu, dont miss it haha. Mercer street is a pain.
Same! Lived in stack house apartments for 3+ years. Everything was grid locked and traffic sucked.
I live in SLU so it’s fun to see you feature all my regular haunts :)
Can’t wait to see more of Seattle! I live in Vancouver BC, and Seattle is one of my favourite place to visit.
Sad I didn’t see this until a week after it was posted, awesome video!!

I lived in the Kiara until recently! Love SLU
Loved it! Need more 👏👏👏👏
Love seeing Seattle thru your eyes, bc the news only shows riots & negativity. Seattle is truly gorgeous, & I had no idea!
nice content, looking forward to more content here ✌
Can't believe you didn't mention the Center for Wooden Boats!
Hello friend...
really beautiful atmosphere of your city ... i like it .. .. greetings from Indonesia, my friend ..🙏🙏
Ooh subbed
I loved it!! 😳
When I first moved to Seattle, lived in Wallingford amazing neighborhood

That was fun, thank you.
It would be great if you included a land acknowledgement at the beginning of your videos about seattle.
Thank you for the great content
This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seattle. Hopefully one day I can move back there ♥
Beautiful 👏👏

im in the same boat right now
Waiting for a video on Whidbey Island
please do one about Fremont or BellTown! trying to decide between the two!
I can only imagine the gymnastics it took to get a Seattle vid with no homeless lol it's spiraling out of control here.
The trick is to just go to SLU. It’s the most (maybe only) clean and safe part of the city
You should film a tour of the Smith Tower. It was recently put back on the market and is such an iconic architectural landmark in Seattle.
I’ve lived in Seattle for twenty one years, I remember when that area was just random buildings and didn’t really have a neighborhood name. 😊
Subscriber #397 of many many more =)

Happy Friday & have a rejuvenating weekend!
What is that drink called?
When did you film this? What what date?
South Lake Union is so nice... . . . . But that kitchen in Palm Springs though 😛😛😛😛😛
have been considering moving to seattle for sometime now. hoping you’ll do more tours of seattle’s neighborhoods!!!
Would you be open to doing a video of the surrounding towns like Bellevue or Bothell? Like by Nintendo or Microsoft?? For those that want to live in more of the residential areas and work for those companies? Thanks!!
The millennial life crisis is over and the real estate journey begins, i am so happy for you and cant wait to look at pretty houses with you!!!

I’ve never been to Seattle but enjoy a few movies filmed there (Sleepless, Singles) and of course Frazier!

Amazing
Serious Feng Shui no doubt.
Love this area! Wish I could afford Seattle but I’m going to have to keep my broke ass in Tacoma for now! 😂
current south lake union resident here 🙋🏼♀️
I’m going to live here

Having lived on a house boat on Lake Union, the planes are historic but noisy and not desirable for residents.
Can you do Capitol Hill next?
South Rich Person Union
Glad I left, NYC is so much better.
sub 450!
From your “mistakes in your 20s video” I think these videos would be better on your main channel.
Would you be able to do a video on Capitol Hill next? :D
Seaplane invented by boeing in lake Union ? Is it a joke ? That's misleading advertasing...
Bought a house in Bellevue for $300,000 now it's worth $1.2 million ... 😳.... Whhhaattt ? How . We should have bought 2 or 3 houses 🏘️ Damn Boi ...
Don't move to Seattle, it sucks!
