Monica, I live in Port Townsend and I love it when you do the different neighborhoods and incredible homes that pop by your incredible videotaping and voice. Thanks for sharing@
As a south Seattle resident, can confirm that Columbia City is great. Having so many great food places in such a small area is a huge plus and why I try to go fairly often
I'm a follower for years on your main channel but even if I don't have any interest in real estate I just love watching your content here too because you're so talented in what you do and it's a delight to watch your beautifully crafted videos!!
The fact that I literally am working down the street at Arlo Apartments. Been in Seattle for a month and first day visiting this little town! Taco spot is really good too 😊
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed. I think a lot of people don't realize it is a great spot, even just to visit- highly recommend Geraldine's!
Oh, good grief, don’t tell them about Columbia City. Let them keep believing it’s still the bad ole days. And especially, skip the transit topic. We are so far ahead of the rest of town it’s a joke. A private joke…
Visited the area for the second time this past year and it’s so nice! Very much “cozy little town” vibes but still in a major city. Definitely an option for me when I move to Seattle.
It’s charming, but borders extremely unsafe neighborhoods. I witnessed 3 gunshots within just 1 year living at Alta Arlo (the newest apartment in the block) 😭
well, to be fair to history Columbia city was a great melting pot of mostly African-Americans that got gentrified and now is like every other neighbourhood in Seattle but beyond that yeah it’s a great place and always was.
@ that’s true. Lived in the central district oh gosh, probably 15-20 years ago. I loved it lived right by that huge church and it’s kind of sad what’s happening there but I mean SEATTLE is not like unique in that way but you’re right I mean it is more diverse. I mean, SEATTLE the state of Washington isn’t very diverse, but it’s you know it is what it is
Watching a lot of LA fire videos because all eyes looking of LA this days what happend there very bad so much people lost her homes during the fire in Eaton Brentwood Palisades Malibu the Community is not a local thing people coming from over all the world to help with food clothes toys money water, that is humanity to help a stranger when he lost everything it´s no matter if you poor or rich. The fire fighters are heros in this time like 2001.11.09.

I truly want to visit Seattle soon! Thanks for this video. May live there one day, the hiking looks so lush!
Fascinating video Mon. You have a happy knack of presenting the life and soul of Seattle. 👍👏👏
Haven’t heard of Columbia city but would love to see more on this!! So cute!!
This is so cool. Didn’t know much about Columbia City before this video. Can’t wait to see the other neighborhoods.

Excited for more neighborhoods, you should try Fremont
I drive from Yakima to Columbia city area for a haircut. I love it there
I took a quick look around your website, looks really professional!
Thank you so much for checking it out!
I’d love to see a Fremont or Ballard or Wallingford video!
Same here! 🙂
Great video
Thank you so much for watching!
Mt Baker
Do you have any Pioneer Square?
I do not! I will add that.

Totally see what your seeing it has been gentrified a lot, it is still a lot more diverse than most neighborhoods in Seattle though!

you mean... it's not a hidden gem??? 😂
Did you mention the crime rate in Columbia City? It is one of the most dangerous cities in Seattle area. The real estate is cheap for a reason.

I've visited Seattle four times, so I'll suggest the places where I stayed--Mukilteo, Arlington and Issaquah.
