We come home from church, eat dinner, and sit back in our recliners and wait for you to come on We’ve been watching you for years and greatly enjoying all your videos!!
I appreciate y'all joining me on my little treasure hunting adventures all these years! Glad y'all enjoy them. I'll see y'all next Sunday for another treasure hunt.
You know, I’ve never left a comment before but you know what I really enjoy your videos. You’re so calming and your voice just makes me feel good reminds me of my uncles they were farmers and I miss them dearly. Thank you for the entertaining videos.😊
Thankyou Raymond, I'm glad you enjoy them. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. I'll see you next Sunday for another treasure hunting adventure!
Thanks Kevin this is Pete. Enjoyed your hunt. Wow, it seems like only months ago when I was congratulating you for reaching the 700 mark in rings. I tell my buddy that finds so many rings. If he went to a public bathroom he would find one on the sidewalk before he got back to detecting.
Lol, I did find one in a parking lot at a school once. I had just step out of the truck and it was laying in the next parking spot, been ran over a few times but a silver ring none the less 😆
Thank you Kevin for another envious hunt.I hit my old zchool parking lot todsy. Not counting vapes and broken glass I found a ton of pennies, one wheatie.I am still looking for those rings!😂
Band uniform button was my guess. I dug a ‘43 merc today with a nail in the hole with it. Lousy tone, but I dug it anyway. Glad I did. And, I found a silver cross ring like the one you dug. Same spot, but early one day last week. It was right on the surface. That button was manufactured about 30 minutes north of me. Cheers from Bridgeport, Connecticut!
I love finding holed coins seems more personal...someone took some time to make that hole but I would be a little sad if I dug a CC Morgan Dollar with a hole in it lol....I finally found the same button on line it's off a Sheriff's uniform 50s-60s era. More good luck to you!
Excellent video and hunt ! Hooray for Kevin ! Man all you have to do is drag your detector across the ground where you are hunting and those silver finds just stick to your coil as you go along ! LOL Congratulation for all your finds ! Good luck and best wishes on your next hunt ! When people see all those awesome finds, i wonder if they know that you have to dig some trash also and every piece you dig is up and down to get your signal out of the ground.
Even before I googled, I suspected the button was from a band uniform or the drum major's uniform. The Waterbury company has been making buttons since 1812. They do military, eagle, civil war, and letter buttons. ETA, the 'band instrument' piece: looks like part of a clip where they hang mini sized sheet music.
From a button backmark information page that I printed a while back, the Waterbury Cos backmark is the most recent showing it as 1965 to present. Now I don’t know what the script S signifies. Scholar?

Thanks OO, it's good to hear from you my friend.
Part of band instrument is to hold the marching music.
Sentry key is actually for a door lock.
Great day out. Happy hunting!
Thanks David!

Aren't you using the Nox 600?
What brand and size coil are you using?
Thanks Billy, Yes and the coil is the CoilTek 10x5 DD it's by far the best of the 5 coils I own for my Nox!

Thanks Chris, it's from a Sheriff's Uniform 50s-60s era from the pic/info I found oline
WATERBURY BUTTON COMPANY MAKES MILITARY, BAND, AND ALL UNIFORM BUTTONS. THIS ONE MIGHT BE FROM THE CIVIL WAR ERA
Thanks!
The “S” button is for the “sheriffs ‘ dept.
👍
Could the button be a band uniform button? ? ?
