@@deenibeeniable I agree! Gymnastics of the 1980s and 1990s too were the whole package! I'd say that would be true of the top gymnasts from the mid-1970s on!
I love the way the floor exercise was done back then, choreography was as much a factor as the acrobatics, and she's one of the greatest Romania had produced in gymnastics!
What’s strange is that the code is so much more difficult now, but very few gymnasts could deliver a piked full in with the amplitude and form that Silivas has done!
It's the same for rithmic gymnastics.. More difficult now... I prefer how the do gimnastics in Europe.. In USA the music is horrible they look dancers... The coreographys have no class at all... It looks another thing than gimnastics but dance or something like this
Mikhail Larayes it's all about the difficulty now, unfortunately, artistry gets no bonus marks anymore. The code has become so harsh nowadays that the gymnasts have to do difficult trick after difficult trick just to get a high enough d score to contend for a medal.
The code of points nowadays is rly rly way too harsh... The execution score of this routine (let alone the composition requirements) would be like 8.733 or something

The 10.0 systems was fraudulent...So glad they got rid of it and have the current system.
