@@ericstorm6582 😂 if it wasn't for Miguel Miyagi-Do wouldn't have crossed the 1st elimination round, let alone the 2nd. Kwon's actor Brandon even said "Only Miguel Can defeat Kwon and no one else" In some other podcast as well.
That just means that both of them have carried the team. Miguel for Elimination Round 1 and Robby for Elimination Round 2 with Cobra Kai which means it's not like Miguel did all of the work.
@@ericstorm6582that makes no sense at this point of the season. Sure, you can make that argument later, but at this point, Robby had lost every single match. He had no part in getting the team past the first rounds.
Well were now 4 seasons later after his injury and 3 seasons from his recovery and it's the final season so it would've been lazy and stupid for them do the back injury thing again like they did in season 2 and 4
With how this show treats karate, i was worried for a second that Johnny wasn't gonna tell Miguel about his mom and just leave. But I'm glad they're both like, "yeah screw this tournament, family matters more."

@@ericstorm6582well idk because Miguel beats axel like 27/8 in part 3 I’m pretty sure, so if Miguel can beat axel I think he could beat Kwon but idk it’s all leaks
How. In that last match before the semis, it didn't matter who that captain was. Whether Miguel was captain or not, wouldn't have made a difference. But if he was, Miyagi do wouldn't have been in such a bad standing going into the elimination round because Robby being captain lost them alot of points@@ericstorm6582
@@ericstorm6582 😂 Robby fans making their own happiness. Kwon's Actor Brandon said "Only Miguel can defeat Kwon and no one else" At the 2024 SDCC Comicon podcast. After release when he was interviewing with CKN even Yoon's Actor chose Miguel over Robby. That's why Brandon had to give some positive points to Robby so that his fans will be happy 😂. As for making it to the semis yes, Robby came in clutch at the last but if it wasn't for Miguel they wouldn't even cross elimination round 1 let alone E2 or semis 😂.
@ericstorm6582 Of course he’s the only one when it’s Captains fighting each other in that round; Robby is the only male Captain on the team. lol Miguel already proven that he’s the best fighter on his team; Hawk and Demetri even admitted that everyone knows the Captain should be Miguel. Robby won by Miguel being off balanced; while both were off balanced, Miguel was winning but then Robby became focused when Tory arrived while Miguel stayed off balanced. Miguel defeated multiple Captains already just in this episode.
Suraji is right. Miguel was right in the sense that Robby needed to focus but the way he went about it was wrong: no one is gonna magically get over his girlfriend becuase you angrily yelled at him, he could have talk to him calmly and in an empowering way instead of talking behind his back witht the team and then yelling angrily at him, of course Robby is not going to respond well to that lol. And Miguel did it that way because deep down he didn't accept that he lost the match against Robby. If he accepted it he would have tried to make him focus and be there for him, in this episode he was selfishly trying to make him just give up the captain spot instead of helping him to focus.
not really, in sports you’re gonna get mad at someone on your team for not doing well especially in a high prestige tournament. this is the realism added into it which is fair. however yes miguel is still salty about the loss but robby still needs to hold his weight especially as captain. either you step up or step aside
The pairings for the elimination round are the most fair you can get. The teams with higher scores are rewarded by facing the teams with lower scores. Ideally, they should win. Of course, an upset can happen, as we saw with Miyagi Do beating Dublin Thunder. But for the most part, this pairing system ensures that the previous rounds actually matter. If you have been doing great so far, you just have to not let your guard down and you’ll be fine. If you did badly so far, then you’ll have to work extra hard to pull the upset, as it’s your last chance to make a come back.
